Is this a bug? I thought BH could only get missions against Jedi of the other factions....

There's a few circumstances that this could have occured under.

The two that immedietly come to mind are that:

A) The person had Investigation 3 in bounty hunter, and is a melee person.

B) There's been a guild war declared between the two guilds they are in.

Plus, if a Imp BH takes a Imp Jedi mission, then the Imp friends of the Jedi CANNOT help the jedi..even if grouped. The BH gains a TEF, but only opposite faction can attack him. So, like faction hunting is very popular, but causes many problems between guilds on a server. It is a heated debate on if it is moral or not.../shrug..its a game.

So they could avoid the GTEF. Nice. If i was a BH, i'd do this too. BH's take contracts on people. Whether they're Imp, Neutral or Rebel, doesn't matter to the BH. Or at least shouldn't. They're hired to fulfill contracts and paid well for those contracts.

Dengar was an Imperially trained Assassin, who turned into a Bounty Hunter. He then began taking contracts to kill Imperial COMPNOR agents.
This put the death warrant on his head by the Empire. Yet he still ended up on Darth Vaders flagship, The Executor, in the Hoth system, given the chance to hunt down Han Solo.

I see both sides to this argument, good and bad. But ultiamately, group members should be able to assist fellow group members reguardless of faction.

There are no emperial nor imperial jedi, the empororer wouldn't allow it. What we have is jedi who are the enemy of all players in this game. Jedi are to blame for virtually all the ills in this game. Look back at how much dev time was wasted on them. Observe how the sheep like masses blindly grind to jedi and ignore the fact that there is nothing else to do in this content free game. Jedi are the enemy to anyone who appreciates the original trilogy not the nonsense stuff Lucas has made recently in order to cash in. Jedi of all types should be eradicated. Jedi were suppossed to be rare and hard to play, they are neither. Good work to the BH and all who kill jedi you are doing a service.

i personally think that BHs and jedi should not be allowed to factionize. this would solve all problems.

Jedi should be able to kill a known BH on sight. I mean, if Boba Fett was killing all of Vader's cronies (assuming vader wasn't the killer of all jedi, hypothetically speaking here) vader would have killed him.

I think Knights should be able to engage any Master Bounty Hunter they see, and I think BH should suffer penalties for deaths...that would stop some of the griefing going on.

At least bounty hunters, after all they work for the highest bidder, they have no loyalties.
