sorta...
so when you hold a VK you only have the defenses that that profession gives you?
what about melee and ranged defense?

yes, From what I get from the information. Only the defenses from the profession( you are currently using) will be present. Thus stacking the defenses from Swordsman... wont help you any.

They all stack or rather did pre-patch 9.1,havent been able to test after this time.
SOE wouldnt know its arse from its elbow, re: what is supposed to stack and what isnt.... (sadly)

well apparently someone has been testing... and so they asked at the Stratics chat. Where JustG said the Defense stacking is Broken.

I believe they meant broken as in, you can currently, which is something they do not want. Expect to see this go bye-bye with the combat revamp.

But he Said Defense stacking is broken... so the ability to stack is what isnt working.

If i use Master Carbines, and have pistoleer 0/0/4/0, will I get the stat def bonus' WHILE I AM USING A CARBINE.

I think it depends from who's point of view your looking from, whether it is broken or not
from my point of view stacking is broken in the fact that i can stack and it works.
From a devs point of view the fact it works my way, but they view it as broken as it should not be happeniing?
