Anyone else notice that the phase 2 combat quest was built in such a way that it would be hard to fail it by system problems. I had one of the NPCs spawn inside a tree. Got real worried. Then noticed that themission is a success when N-1 Sith are killed. Pretty cool, not foolproof but nice touch.

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME ?!?!?!?!?!

Obviously you are clueless as to the REST of the Phase 2 quests that are so broken. The DEVs are incompetent...And you're telling us that they did something right on purpose?!?!

Riiiight...Think and read a little b4 u post.

DEVs can't fix Whip cuz they're too busy having trouble understanding one another...

DEVs: You're pitiful. You don't deserve your jobs.

There is an instructive lesson in this, which I believe will be reflected upon by MMO companies long into the future. They will take seriously the importance of their already existing community, and should put their desires over that of a mythical “silent majority.”

go with novice scout. drop a camp and the tree poofs and you could smack the sith anyway. the wips one is more of a problem cause it would be the equivelent of the sith never spawning.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

Umm... Zaerion, you do realize they are working on a fix for the whip quest that is currently on test center, right? While I am not defending the devs, I am saying not all problems are easily remedied. So cram it!

Have any of you ever programmed a game? Have you ever programmed anything?

I don't think people realise how hard their jobs are. If you had ANY idea, I'm sure you wouldn't be complaining.

Yes, the game is bugged. I'm not happy either. Complaining about it on the forums is not going to solve the issue. It's not going to get you a free month. It's not going to get you "free" xp.

Kudos to the devs for all the work they've put into this fine game.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? spawning npcs inside a tree or inbetween the tent, which renders it untouchable and then calling it good work???????? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE OUT OF YOUR ROCKER!!!!!!

i dont wanna give the devs 2 much credit but hes right. they hav to go through like 10000 lines of code or more to find the problem. probably way more than 10k. then they hav to figure out how to fix it. so relax. the 1 thing i hate is the lag. they need more bandwidth on their servers.

"Hell, I don't know. just make it complete after 2."

There are quests that are done really well, and some that are not. I think different devs are assigned to different missions with some being more competent and thorough than others. Well, that's just my theory.

You and people like you make me laugh so hard. I have no idea what people have problems with Whip. I did the quest three days ago and got no issues at all. I recieved the crystal and its in my inventory as its suppose to be. Either they did fix the quest and did not really say or you fellas are just so UNLUCKY..

I as a web programmer also agree totally with this post here. Yes the game might be bugged, but thats due to ALWAYS giving us new stuff to do each month. When you add new programming it at times tends to mess with the other coding in their. We all have to remember this game is just over a year old and VERY FAR from finished due to being a MMO which means it never ends till u quit. So quit complaining they are doing the best they can with a semi new game still, and fixing bugs as fast as they can and fit into schedule. I normally do not tell people this but if you wish to ALWAYS whine then save your money go else where because you will come back one day I can GUARANTEE it just because you will have the question "Hmm wonder if....?" You can fill in the dots b/c there will be so many questions that will eventually come up by each person to want to know. I also think that AFTER JTL's release the dev's main focus will be many bugs and additional content in the original game along with profession revamps and the CB, so either have patience or leave!
