I'm looking for info on how this currently works. Does it apply just like skill tapes? Is it a percentage after normal/skill tape bonuses? ANy help would be great.

I don't know how it works exactly but it does work......I'm doing huge amounts of damage now with my PowerHammer 
oh and PowerHammer's are very cheap compared to my Scythe Blade (hardly use that now)

I am contemplating picking up Melee speed in Phase 2, but the Jedi Revamp FAQ says it is rumored not to work. Can anyone say YES orNO for themselves for sure that it works with LS? If it doesn't work, I'll just wait till phase 3 and get melee accuracy. BTW does melee accuracy work for lightsabers? Thanks.

they both work, after publish 9 hit, i was the one out of the 2 of my friends who picked it up. i was doing more attacks faster than them when we were the same level.
im pretty sure our sabers were equal, but as far as i could tell, it did indeed work

Why do you supposeSonGouki would write this in the FAQ? Just curious.
Melee Speed (enhanced melee speed +12): Increases speed with any melee weapon. Useless for Lightsaber Masters (rumored not to be working for Lightsabers anyway).

This is great news. I show the post from SonGouki also andfelt bad, but this thread makes me feel a lot better. So 5 stars for all.

Because for a long time they either didn't work, or were rummored not to, or there wasn't a noticeable difference. And it is useless for masters.

I never noticed any difference at all with melee speed and lightsaber. I did notice force speed effecting the attack speed of my saber. Even on test center 2 it never worked for lightsaber. But none of the mods except for melee/range defense in the force sensitive skills are useful to a fully grinded Jedi Knight.

my training saber is 4.7 speed and i do not attack any faster with the FS melee speed tree maxxed out.
I still attack every 4.7 seconds. I would say it doesn't work.

it does work, but i think it will only work once you start using specials...
