You guys obviously dont read many threads about being a jedi or anything before you start complaining about how much it sucks to become one. Everytime I check these forums for some new grinding tips I see 3 new threads like "omg I hate my life, I hate the devs, why I cant I unlock jedi in a day and be the most uber player on the server without any work". Give me a break. You think the fs grind sucks and is extremely hard? The fs grind is the easy part of being a jedi. Once you get your padawan status your grind has only begun. If your a casual gamer why even try to be a jedi? It takes long hours and dedication to the game, I'm guessin a casual gamer, from padawan to knight, would take probably 6 months to a year. And your all complaining about 3 months of grinding to unlock jedi? Gimme a break. Begin flames now, I know you want to. But many ppl will agree with me, quit complaining about fs grind, yes it sucks, yes its long, we all know it, we dont need you writing a thread everyday about it.

least with the holo grind i could do different professions with jus as much grind and it would keep the economy going because i would have to buy new weapons armor supplies and the such for the new professions. i personally would rather have that then mindless hours at the squill caves or the sarlacc poi or other places of the such

i love all these idiots complaining about the FS grind......right now if you are triple profession or a grenadeer....you can fill one first level box plus extra xp in one buff session..... as a padawan...it will take you at least 2 buff sessions to fill one low level box..... and you also grind in constant fear, and watching the radar for BH's.......sigh..........

A lot of people complain, but few for good reasons. The general consensus is that jedi should be hard to get, which I happen to agree with. But you must have a thing for punishment if you think this is the right way. I expected something more challenging (in an intelectually sort of way), in which, you know, you can actually have fun, a quest by definition, where you have to actually use your brain to put the pieces together in the greater puzzle, a quest where you actually have to think what would be the next move. In the current system you know exactly what you have to do, which is count the hours go by and the xp stacking up. Not fun.

He didn't say anything about not knowing this. He said he preferred the other grind because it helped the economy more because you had to constantly change professions and thus sell off things and buy other things. Are you sure you read his post?

do you guys realize how much easier this is than grinding out all 32 professions? We get to play the profession we want. It's only a grind if you choose to make it a grind.

I know a lot of people think this. And while I think quests and an intellectual challenge would probably be more fun than grinding, you have to realize that if the path to Jedi were all puzzles and quests, it wouldn't really be much of a challenge at all. Because, if you take a look around the forums you see a guide to everything possible. Jedi quests would end up the same way. A guide and walkthrough for every single quest. And, you know that the majority of people would follow the walkthroughs instead of trying to figure it out themselves. So, in effect, you would know exactly what you have to do, which is no different from the current system.

yes i did read his post. and if he wanted to help his economy, he could do it this way as well. if you were smart, and you wanted to help your economy now, you can do many things. you can be a weaponsmith and sell grenades for a highly marked up price. you can be a doctor, and you can sit at coronet 24/7 and provide buffs. you can be a armorsmith and have a constant supple of chest/helmet/gloves/boots armor. you can be a musician/dancer and provide 24/7 music/dance buff-bot service. Chefs are also still in high demand.... as is high level shipwrights who are able to provide RE'd equipment. there is never enough to go around...and all these are always in demand. if you are smart , you would know how to change with the economy... i don't know about your server...but our economy is doing very well if not even better than before.

does it make sense to continually pay 15 bucks a month to just come here and complain? does this help the situation of the game? does it help to make a better game play situation for us? and most importantly, does it contribute? all of the answers to the above is NO.... thank you my friend.. no go back under your rock.
