Thread: Anyone having Problems with Eozlins Quest

After completing Eozlins - surveying quest in phase 2 i opened the surveying branch of Heightened senses - Yay
It is now Phase 3 and i really wanted to open up the Luck branch as i want to get the whole of Heightened Senses so i spoke to Eozlin again and he sent me on my way - i found the first 50% + resource and stood there............. and continued to stand there.......... then i surveyed a bit..........dig dig dig dig.........and nothing happened. I saw other guys coming and going having no problems with the quest but i kept digging just incase..........dig.....dig... i nearly reached the other side of Dathomir when i realised it wasnt working. So i submitted a ticket.
Can i just see if anyone else has had this problem. Is it because i did the surveying quest for him in the last phase - if so why did he let me do this again. I have never done a quest in this phase before as last time Phase 3 was active i was away. Also when i go speak to Eozlin he tells me to go get on with the quest. - But i cant....... i tried bonking him on the head several times to try and wake him up but it didnt help.
Please help a damzel in distress as i am slowly going maddddddddddddddddddd.

Shoudl be enough to just survey when standing in a spot with 50% or better concentration. Are you sure you are surveying the correct resource?

Yeah unfortuantley it asked for Irona nd i had a 51% spot - the quest also doesnt show up in my journal - but like i said when i speak to eozlin he tells me to go and complete it.

Open your quest journal, it is updated with next ressource you have to find

This is where it gets wierder.
Im my quest journal it is like i havent taken a quest - but in my spatial - i have talked to Eozlin and accepted the quest and i have even tried talking to other npcs to try and get a different quest but they say i am already doing one.
I cant work it out!
I have even spoke to peamos who has told me what branhes i have opened and i have definatley not done this one already

Hmmm, I finished this rather quickly last night. Probably had no problems because I didn't do his quest last phase though /shrug? I had to pick up scout again though cause medic exp isn't coming quickly enough and I don't want to become a dancer on this toon.

Excuse me if this is too obvious but you all keep referring to surveyng while over the spot. Have you tried sampling? I've only done the first two resources this phase (because I didn't bring along my wind energy survey tool :smileymad
but both were successful when I found the concentration and sampled.

Yeah i did that too lol. On the last phase when i did this mission i just stood there and i got the quest updated in my journal but this phase it didnt happen so i tried sampling - i must of sampled for over an hour and still didnt get the next resource given etc etc.
Wierd !!!!

worked fine for me and I didnt sample at all. just stand on the 50+ spot and hit survey.
you can do that on other planets too, if dathomir is too hard for you.

Hmm...very strange.
Myself, I can't seem to find any damn planet with any Energy over 50%. Anyone else done this? It's quite irksome....

depends on the server, you may not find the stuff you are looking for immediately. Energy can be solar and wind take both tools along with you. If you just have novice artisan and trying this quest you may find it very hard. No shame in hiriing a surveyor for a few hours. You can search for the materials on any planet in galaxy not just Dathomir, you also dont have to return to the village until the surveying is complete the quest journal will just continue updating until you finish it. Last but not least the reward is an inorganic survey device. Wish you had this thing when you started

i'm just basically doing it for "fun". I have all my unlocks, and i unlocked survery in phase2, just for kicks, andI didn't have any problems with it. Took me like 30mins tops. Now I really want luck, because I'm guessing it'll help me as a Jedi (with loots and such).This time around though, I got through the first 2 or 3 quests and then hit an absolute wall with Energy. I went to like 5 diff planets and like 10 diff towns last night. It's ridiculous!
So anyone on Kauri know where to find 50% concentrations of Energy? p-p-p-p-please?
