Ok hey....so I was waiting for the Old Man yesterday and he finally came!

Well I got my force crystals patiently waited for the sith shadows to arrive.

Later last night, they came to me and...at a surprisingly hard lvl 77 they both whipped my ass. However a guild member walked by and as I got up from incap we killed them.

I looted them, and got the waypoint datapad. But my force crystal was not relooted. So I had to wait for the Old Man again!

Ok...so this morning he comes to me and gives me my damn crystal back.

I still have that waypoint datapad but it says I still cannot make sense of it. Do I delete it and wait for the shadows again?

And another thing...why're they lvl 77 at this point of the quests? ah well...do i still have to wait for the shadows again?

Same situation here. I actually got jumped by four sith and got massacred. I cloned and the old man gave me a crystal again. I went back and killed the 4 sith and looted the ore and the wp datapad. The datapad says i can't make sense of it. My quest journal says, mission complete for talking to the old man and sith ambush. Will the sith return? Am I borked now? Should I delete the items? I don't know. Someone help us.

Same deal here, but luckily for me one of my guild members went through the same thing and he said just delete the wp cause you cant read it and wait for the sith again after the old man comes back. He said he waited about 24 hr for the sith to return. This time be ready and have help if needed. I am still waiting for the Sith to return, probably will happen when I log on today. I personally think it is bs they are so hard on the 1st part of the Jedi Path.

Ok this happened to me as well. The old man came and gave me another crystal. I was trying to b cautious and got hit loading in from a shuttle. They took the crystal again and then another set of sith outlaws spawned and hit me again. The very first were CL74 then today was CL75 and CL77. Guess this is SOE's answer to jedi population control.

The Old Man will not spawn for me and it has been almost 48 hours was there some kind of change in the time it takes for him to spawn with the CU or the new RotW. Please help me im really agitated.

Delete the data pad if you cannot use it. It was linked to your old crystal. Once you delete the datapad the siths will return. Works everytime.

have to understand that SOE is doing everything within their power to keep new people out of the village and stuck on phase 1

A side note after the second hit today from the dbl spawn of sith outlaws the old man came for the third time about 20-30 minutes later the sith have not reappeared. I now am hiding in my house and don't leave without guildmates grouped with me, I'm so paranoid now that I even have them go first on a shuttle in case the spawn when I load my guildmates are already there to defend me.

If you think the sith that come after your crystal are hard wait untill you fight the sith at the village!!

The waypoint datapad you loot will not work because you have to take both of the Sith Shadows down WITHOUT getting incapped or cloning. You CAN fight them in a group, so get some help. It will work!!

Level 77 !?!?!? Whats that about im currently waiting for my visit from the sith shadows having only just spoke with the old man.

But Level 77 thats a bit harsh isnt it? Im only level 73 and not knowing when they are going to turn up i cant really ask someone to help me can i?!

Id respec to a different template to reach level 80 (as my template only allows me to get to level 73!) but it has ended from me i do beleive that i am totally screwed.
