Thread: Lost your bike to a sith?

I'm a Master rifleman , and I have been doing the patrols finally finished the first 10. On my first few sets of patrols I was fighting 3 sith , all of the sudden a PC drives up and *bam* he loses his bike. He gets angry and helps me kill them ( that was cool saved me some work ) .
Next day I start doing the rest of my patrols , and I happened to be cover. Hitting them and getting a good amount of shots off before they get near me , only CL 76 right now heh. Guy drives by the sith and *bam * loses his bike . I said sorry man you are the 2nd person to lose their bike , he uncovered me and they must have just got mad .
Later on I am finishing my patrols up and I drive by an npc . See he is fighting a sith , I dismount and target the npc just to look at him * bam * my bike blows up . He was like sorry , and I told him not your fault I stopped LOL. He offered a ride and I declined pulled out my ab-21 or whatever it is and headed off to finish my last set of patrols.
Be careful the sith like to blow up bikes ....at least this time I had a spare . My alt that did this first had no bike and I had to walk....that's why I try to store my bike when I am about to fight them.

Good post! The sith have a strong resentment toward bikers, I'm guessing Mellichae is too cheap to provide them rides of their own. Imagine cruising through Dath with 7 sith behind you on swoops LOL

What's frustrating is that the behaviour is totally illogical. They'll target your bike even though you are taking them apart. It's like they're on some single-minded vendetta against all vehicles.
Reminds me of that Steve Martin movie where the guy's trying to shoot him at the gas station but he's hitting the cans instead. Only here it's bikes.

Yeah I'd like to know why the post-CU bike hating is happening. I lost 3 bikes in the first hour of phase 1 patrols. (Raiding parties, mist blocking my view. Drove right into them!)

OMG u actually used an av-21 to go to the village/patrol?
I usually do my patrols on disposable 15k or less speeders...I get near them, and if there are >4 sith, I turn around and get off 90m from them. Then I get closer, 60m, cover concealx2 sniper kd critical headshot them, one at a time. If I park my speeder at 80m, and I'm at 60m picking them off, when they find me they can areaattack and hit my car, even if I'm far away from it (left or right I mean). I don't like to store, it wastes the "gas" quickly. I need to do 120 waypoints, and 16 more drives to the village for my banner. I hope it's worth it...I'm just so f***** bored.

I don't think they do it on purpose, I've noticed that they pull Area of Effect shots frequently. They end up hitting your bike. It's fun standing next to a Malkloc lair and they pull an AoE on you.

Heh, I tend to get Malklocs on them a lot.. In fact, that's how I usually kill Sith. I run into the group, get them aggro'd on me, then run into a herd of them Malkloc's... They distract them while I take them out.. Hehe.. Gotta love the Dathomir fauna!

I have never used this command lol . I destroyed mine purposely yesterday for that big soro boat thing. I suspected the sith like to use an aoe . All the npcs use all of their specials it seems . With the right combination of my specials they barely hurt me 1 vs 1 .

I wasn't doing patrols...was doing something even more stupid... After the end of a long day of phase 4 grinding, I pulled it out while I checked to see if there was a group before I went to bed, sat in it in the village for about 10 seconds during invasion before it got blowed up... I still can't bring myself to delete it from my datapad...

It's not just the sith. I wasn't paying attention on the way back from the village yesterday, and of course i got stuck on a tree, or pine cone or whatever. Wouldn't you know it, I looked just in time to see a Rancor destroy my bike in one hit, then it attacked me.
Got away easily enough, hopped on my spare, and to my surprise when i got back to the outpost, both my bikes were in my datapad and both in perfect condition. Go figure.
