sry hit enter too soon... Is this true? Only 5 aggros per lair? I cant get more of em when throwing nades. It says I hit the other ones but with no actual hit damage nr. I.e says "Body Hit" but no number on how much I hit it for hence no damage to it..
Ive tried to hit as as many monsters as possible with area attacks before starting the nades but still only 5.
Is feign death a way to get around this?

not sure if i'm understanding your question right, but i throw the grenades at the lair. I get the original cirtters that were out, plus the first spawn (usually ends up being 10-12 critters if i'm in a full group) then if its still too easy, i switch to unarmed and pound the lair to get em all out at once. The number that spawn, at least used to, depends on how many you are grouped with.

As far as I know the spawn rates are the same. Ocasionally I will get a lair with at least 3 times the normal spawn, but that is rare. Try this, get the lair down about 25% and then move away about 6000m meters and come back. The lair should be full again.

I do the same... I tap the lair with my ph then the spawning of critters begin.. Then when there are alot out (but only 5 are attacking me and healing the lair at this point, the others are just walking around watching...) I start throwing nades. But even if theres 10 critters near the lair and within the blastradius I only do damage to 5 of them, the other ones looks like they are taking hit but with no damage... Is this the way its supposed to be or is it a bug?

I experienced this as well while leveling up. What I also noticed was that if a creature got hit down to the point where they would turn and walk away that the grenades would stop hitting them for damage as well. I don't know if its a bug or intended. This could have been part of the patch that fixed the old rifle exploit.

Maybe the other are outside your blast radius? But it might be that they need to have aggroed you for them to take damage. Like it is with other AOE attack (on first shot you will damage target and aggro creatures around the target but not damage them).
What I do is to move around a bit when I see some not taking damage/ignoring me so I am sure to get them in blast radius.

Ive tried that too... Running around just throwing grenades at the ones not aggeoing me, but they just ignore me until one of the 5 already attacking me died then they start to attack aswell...
I any1 has a solution to this I would be very gratefull!!

Don't hit the creatures with grenades, always use grenades on lair only since there is a big risk that you will miss if you throw on the creature. Better to use you normal weapon to damage the creature (use normal attack so you don't damage them to much) then run back close to lair so you have them all aroudn you and then start throwing grenades.
One very annoyinging thing that happens to me often is that sometimes you switch from attacking the lair to any of the attacking creatures. Seems to happens sometimes when you have no more grenade throws in combat que.

The original poster is correct.
Even if you have 10 mobs around you, you only ever do damage to a maximum of 5; the 5 with the HAM bar showing. Everyother onetakes a hit for zero damage. This is true even if atacking lair and has nothing to do with blast radius. When one of the original 5 dies or leaves, a mob from the non-damage group will replace them.
For this reason its worth tapping the lair a few times and switching to 'nades immediately; rather than build up some huge amount of aggro. You will always be damaging 5 till the initial spawn runs out.

If you are in a solo group, then yes, five aggroes are the maximum amount that you can haveat any one time. You could be hitting 21 of them for all the game cares, but as long as your still in the solo group, you'll only be able to hit a max of five. I've tested this of course, by dropping out of the solo grouponce I get to the lair. If you do drop, you can hit around a max of 10 or more at a time (therefore eliminating them twice as fast). I've found though that staying in the solo group for the xp bonus and larger amount of creatures per lair was more beneficial in the long run.
