Thread: are the sith really that hard?

I just read a post or two about people getting incapped by the sith the come for you after the old man. What CL are we talking about here??

No healing, but i have pretty good def, esp with armor and duelist stance...

the sith are cl 76-77, imo their ranged attacks hit hard but they only cause me a problem if it's 5 on 1. If you're a cl80 I don't see you having a problem.

yeah i have a crate of D's, but they have a 1 or 2 minute recharge rate.
CL's in the mid 70's shoudlnt be that hard for me, ill just run up on them and force them to use melee on me, as thats my better defense.

Ruby Bliel is your friend. Also, get some Food that adds regen to health.

the siths are at level 76-78 i think. and use d-stims if you need healing and use ruby biel after the d stims it chills down the stim time

When I soloed the Sith Camp at CL77, I used action foods that allowed me to use my specials and heal as needed.

MBH / Mcomm was my PvE Uber template. If you get the right food, drinks, spice, BE clothing, a PSG and /or some armore, you'll trounce the Sith with no problem. My favorite combo was using my plasma flame thrower and Torso shot or knock downs. The more states you can apply the better off you'll be.

You wont have any problem. The Sith caught me out while I was shopping on Corellia. I didnt have my armour on, or a weapon in my hand which gave them an opening advantage. Couldn't equip my armour during the battle. Managed it with just a couple of heals.
If you're prepared they wont have a chance.

You can have problems, no matter how uber you are....
I logged in a few weeks ago and found myself incaped and my crystal gone, all of which was done before I was completely logged in. My advice? Make sure you log off in a house so this doesnt happen to you.
ps - the old man came back 3 days later and gave me another crystal, so it was no big deal.

They should be fairly simple, and many posters here have great ideas/tactics. If you follow those ideas you will be fine. Good luck.

I did it at CL 58, with assault armor and master rifleman. My advise if you are really worried, when they first attack, target closest (so you don't lose him), burst run away from battle, regroup, go back and fight them one on one.

Sith's aren't that bad at all, not like they were pre CU...effin' thugs.
