That's why I'm going to grind the rest of it until then. I'll make Padawan mid april.
We'll see a few weeks after I make Padawan if the hundreds of hours were for nothing.

personally i think you all are over reacting a little, common, the CU is still in Beta, hasnt even hit the TC yet, it will be mid summer before it really hits i think. And im in the worst boat, i need 2 more content badges till i get glowy, rofl. With my luck the CU will hit right in the middle of my grinding for padawan

Is that why they say it's coming out the same time as the Expansion RoTW, which comes out 2 weeks before Episode 3 hits? (May 19th)

xp nerf?
I don't think so.
Acutally w/o modifying xp things in CU, you won't get xp as much as current nade xping.
Why?
At the moment you can throw nades safely with full buffs.
Even mission difficulty 99 isn't matter at all.
But after CU , I guess you can't do that same way with less buff. Even though you can earn same xp after CU, you can't stand by lair while throwing nades I think.
Only a few that can survive among a lot of giant baz niches will do nade xping. ( like master commando+tka ? )

Forgetting the 'nade' grinding for a moment I think the worry is'regular' XP grindingwill be harder after the CU. In a buff slot I can generate 60-80 k fs (usually 60 cos I'm tired). That's not fast really, it'll take me many months of playing 3 or so nights a week and I'm fine with that.
I am worried that these changes will change my game and on top of that increase the difficulty of generating the FS XP and really without more information from the devlopers on these changes I think it's a justified worry.
