Thread: Who's actually planning on going higher than 24 SP in FS skills?

That's my question to you people. This time through the village, I'm going to try something few people even dare dream of...I'm not going Jedi as soon as I get the 24 SP needed for this toon.
Nope, I'm going for8 branches or more, halfway there, and I think it certainly feels more "Jedi" than most people.
Experimentation
Master Reflexes
Melee accuracy
yeah, it's an additional6 weeks...but it's not like Jedi's going anywhere
Please seek assistance from your nearest psychological professional. I couldn't wait to be done the village... and I will never take my alt there... EVER!!!
I'm planning on taking 8 trees. Melee speed / accuracy, ranged / melee defense, vehicle control, and techniaue / experiemntation / repair from the crating mastery tree. I'll have ranged speed and accuracy for a while too, until I drop them for Jedi.

True, I'll probably be sub-80. But PvP just about ignores level differences between people within 3 levels of each other. As a Jedi, the extra skills will still let me get away from BH's faster, camp on my own (that extra +5 terrain negotiation doesn't hurt), be an automatic 12 pt lightsaber crafter with MLS (I also don't care about pearls...they generally tune better, but I'll take a nice 200k premium crystal over a 10 million cred pearl ANYDAY), and my defenses are boosted by both the ranged and melee defense. I could drop survival and take Assembly to ensure my sabers were better than the nerf-screamers that dominate the Jedi board. Plus, 4 FS skills are a drop in the bucket SP-wise.
You've already spent 24...might as well make a Jedi instead of just unlocking one.

+20 FS experimentation doesn't give you extra experimentation points, only increases the chance of an amazing success - exactly like taking a dose of bespin port beforehand. It's only slightly better than being in a research city and apparently doesn't stack with research.
Not flaming you for this idea - just letting you know ![]()

It's cool, I never had experimentation and I hadn't read SonG's description correctly. I appreciate the correction.

Want to keep sp for your jedi skills anyway....
MLS and a mix of Defender, Powers, Healing and Enhancer is fine for me. I'm in it for the RP value really...vis is a joke now so the only people being hunted are the Ryatt grinders and the starport ravers
