Thread: Who's actually planning on going higher than 24 SP in FS skills?

yeah you can keep doing the village after you become a jedi
the +s to camping and creature harvesting only count while you still have novice scout. once you drop that for jedi skills, they're useless. the +5 to terrain negotiation does stay tho, i like it

you can, but jedi exp doesn't convert *at all* to FS exp, and you get no combat exp when you get jedi exp. so, you can't actually fill *any* of the boxes while doing jedi stuff. you can fill them with normal skills while you still have normal profs, or fill them even after you're full template jedi, but that'll go reallllllllllllly slowly since your caps for the types that do convert will be *very* small (i think 10k for everything except combat and rifles for some reason).

Also, one question: Are you able to continue doing village missions and filling some of the fs trees after you have become a jedi?
Please tell me where i can get premium crystals for 200k

True, I'll probably be sub-80. But PvP just about ignores level differences between people within 3 levels of each other. As a Jedi, the extra skills will still let me get away from BH's faster, camp on my own (that extra +5 terrain negotiation doesn't hurt), be an automatic 12 pt lightsaber crafter with MLS (I also don't care about pearls...they generally tune better, but I'll take a nice 200k premium crystal over a 10 million cred pearl ANYDAY), and my defenses are boosted by both the ranged and melee defense. I could drop survival and take Assembly to ensure my sabers were better than the nerf-screamers that dominate the Jedi board. Plus, 4 FS skills are a drop in the bucket SP-wise.
You've already spent 24...might as well make a Jedi instead of just unlocking one.
thier is actually a good reason for this
the two most common templates are
1)Master two classes, and have two trees in another. This is usually MLS MD 4004 enchancer
2)the other template is mater a class, have 2 trees in one, 2 trees in another, and 1 tree in one
This is usually enchancer 4004 healing 4100 and then master LS and 2 defender trees or vice versa.
This spend leaves you 5 unspent points.....since you cant get anything else in jedi, why not put the boxes to FS stuff?
I did my sums on my jedi template i want, and I get to keep my selectedFS skills and have 2 points left over so i have elected to pickup Luck1 and Luck2 as well as Combat Prowess (4444) and Reflexes (4400).
A better question would be - Will my FS branches make any difference to my Jedi? or do i just drop them and get something else in the Jedi trees.
