i completed the phase 3 melee accuracy quest solo this morning and ill tell you how.
first i stayed about 100m from the turrets in front of the base, called my probot out and had it destroy the turrets 1 by 1. there was no return fire or attack on the probot, so it was just a matter of time.
next, i drew out 5 sith a few at a time (im currently master tk/2h/some doc) to get my 5 kills. its important to draw some of the sith away from the entrance or they will all agro u.
my probot took out the gate as i killed the sith, so then the concern was all the sith gathered at the entrance of the base.
i tried to crawl along the side of the base to the entrance to sneak past the sith...however 2-3 aggroed me as i entered. i clicked capture on the sith commander's radial menu and burst ran around to the area opposite the base entrance. the sith still had me aggroed, but they couldnt get to me bc of the base walls and the fact i had burst run before they could follow. i waited for the commander to bring his slow ars around to me, then maintained a 75-110m distance from him, stopping of course every so often to make sure he was still following.
by maintaining this distance, the sith that spawned near him could not agro me, and i did not have to kill any sith or even get agroed my whole way back to the village.
there were a few times near mountains i needed to let him catch up further as i tried to go around the mountains and avoid him going up the steep hills. i had to click on follow me to have him continue with me through some mountainous passage areas.
i avoided red agros as we headed to the village.
it took me about 40-45 minutes to walk him back from NU on intrepid, a base bout 3k away from the village.
i got my sunriders destiny crystal and started training in the melee accuracy FS skills.
just wanted to let u all know it can be done solo.
good luck

hes not being negitive, its just a fact that almost everyone that has or is still doing it in this phase has had a problem with being 10m away from the guy and he turns and runs back to the base.

/salute, well done. I esp. like the part where you used the base to block the sith from chasing you, and kept the commander at a distance to avoid aggro from the sith recapture parties. I think the part where your droid was able to destroy the turrets without taking a shot is probably some exploit, but when it comes to this mission: "alls fair in love and war".
I kinda did the mission solo. I brought two of my toons on at the same time, had them both take the mission, and used alt-tab to switch between them to get the mission done. Noone else. I dare say this is even harder to accomplish, and frankly, i only got through it by sheer dumb luck. The turrets i took out with my rifleman under fire while my (then) tk healed. I pulled the 5 sith using novice combat medic poison, and then got lucky as a party-crasher tried to get my commander, and created a distraction for my second toon to burst-run in and get the commander. On the way back, i did fight all the sith but that wasn't hard. And i did often get up to 70m away from the commander without him ever trying to bolt. That way when the sith did attack, i could kill them in about the time it took the commander to catch up to me, which kept him moving and saved precious time. Both toons were able to get both the Sunrider's and Mind Crystal (useless i know) at the same time.
Just goes to show that the best solution isn't always sheer brute force. These missions can be done with carefull planning, intelligence, and a little luck. Of course it never hurts to have a Master Defender guarding your back.

You do not need a probot at all, when i was doing this earlier this morning this is how it all happened.
First of all it was just me and my brother doing this.
I disabled the shields, and my brother ran right up to the gate... and died, i went behind the base where the turrets could not see me, and popped out and killed one turret in about 10 seconds, healed up, then went around to the other side and killed the second turret.
Healed then rezzed my brother with rez arm, we AOE'd like crazy until the gate was down and we ran inside, and stopped aggroing the spawns, then we took out the rest of the aggroed sith and then took out the ones outside, as well as the turret.
Then we captured the commander and walked back, from 4km out
we did this with a CL 80 (me) BH, and a CL 59 BH, with some healing skills, thats all you need... oh yeah and some luck with the commander following you.

Good job man.
Just a quick question, can anyone use a probot?
