Thread: My FS predicament

Okay, I played from nearly release up to about 2.5 months ago. During that time I payed for 2-3 accounts. Having done pretty much everything else ingame I had begun to concentrate on getting my own jedi. I ended up mastering 13 professions before the village and only got one free line. Shrugged my shoulders and said "oh well" will just have to work harder then others to get the jedi. I do phase 1 and everything went well. Then phase 2 comes.
I complete the phase 2 quest for vehicle control perfectly. I get my reward. I get my quest log updated to show completion. Paemos shows me having completed it. I train the requisite novice box. And after all that Noldan refuses to train me or show that i can learn vehicle control. I send in CSR tickets and get the stock BS "devs know about it, there is no work around, nothing we can do, sorry".
I again shrug it off cuz its just one line. I do phase 3 combat and that turns out okay. Then comes phase 4. Same friggin thing as phase 2. I complete the quest for melee def. I get the message of complettion. Capt sargilo says i completed it. Paemos says i completed it. I get the reward. The quest journal says i completed it. Noldan wont recognize or train me.
I send in more CSR tickets. Get the same BS answer as before. Now Im angry and I cancel all 3 accounts figuring working on jedi is the only reason im here and the ridiculous bugs wont let me.
I figure it will get fixed by devs sooner or later and ill maybe come back. So 2-3 months later which is this last week i try again. Reactivate one account, get set up again and go out to village. I still cant train vehicle control or melee def. Noldan is still the only ignorant one about this. So I send in another CSR ticket explaining this. This CSR response is worst then the first ones. He tries to intimate that somehow I didnt do the quests right and that its my fault and I just need to redo the quests.
One can imagine that I am getting pretty angry that a bug at least 3 months old that blocks people from working on jedi is still around and the csrs have gone from saying there is nothing they can do to blaming the people who got the bug.
So okay, phase 4 has just started, I figure ill give it a shot. Ill go back out there and try to redo the melee def quest on the 1 in 1k chance i didnt do it right. I get to the village and go see the capt. Guess what. HE

Anyway, THE CAPT WONT EVEN TALK TO ME! I cant redo melee def and i cant even get ranged speed since the same capt give both. What dev thought up the same npc for two different quests? So now i dont even have a different quest i can do for phase 4.
So i send in another CSR ticket. Im understandably a little irate and i use the phrase "crock of s**te" to describe this situation that i am in. The CSR response is the "devs are working on it, there is no workaround, sorry cant help you" and adds "any further ticket with the use of a vulgarity will be considered CSR harrassment and will result in disciplinary action on your account".
So after i cancel 3 accounts due to being near totally blocked in your jedi quest system, then activate one account a few months later to try again and am even more blocked then before all with no help at all from any csr i get threatened with disciplinary action on my last remaining account for the use of one vulgarity in a csr ticket about bugs that are driving me nuts.
You call this customer service?

Im sorry if i didnt state it specifically in the original post but i am making a last ditch effort at getting some help with this. Ideally (I know im dreaming) you could say this poor sap has suffered enough with our bugs and just bump me to newb jedi heh. But at least somehow triggering noldan to let me train my two bugged lines and ill live with the new phase 4 bug. Please help in some way.

I feel your pain man and I am also in your same predicament because all i need is Melee defence. Unfortunatly all servers are experiencing this same problem and we are forced to wait till the Devs get it fixed witch hopefully will be soon. I wonder if the server will have to reset for the problem to be fixed or can they do it while the game is running. Just a sugesstion they should have kept daringen (NPC) in the game to do all the Enhanced reflexes quests.

Just another example as to why Jedi are feeling the brunt of the devs "Don't look at them, maybe they'll go away" attitude. Severe bugs/severe un-balance, in fact everything in regards to Jedi is severe - even the rewards, which are severe BS when you consider how much work you had to do. Coupled with a seemingly silent Jedi correspondant further means that important matters are being ignored constantly.
If I were you, I'd take whatever FS boxes I can get and run. In its current state, the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages to owning a Jedi and with my uncanny force abilities, I forsee things getting much worse for us before they get better.

I am having the same problem getting the meleee defense mission. The captain just keeps telling me to take a little r&r, which is driving me crazy 
I have submitted 2 bug reports and 3-4 CSR tickets. All I hear is that "they know it is an issue, and it will be resolved shortly". I wonder if that means before the next phase shift?

Instead of getting angry (or in my case any angrier....it's gotta be effecting my health) I send as many bug reports as is possible. For the reason that at the very least I can annoy someone, and in that respect I am profoundly happy.

Kinda find it funny in one way that people are bugged. I mean if your gonna be a jedi you dont need ranged speed or accuracy. Anyone who thought it out would have did the melee speed and accuracy. I prolly would have done the same as most and picked the ranged just so i dont have to wait for more phases. Not looking for any flames, just seems impatience has comeback to bite some people in the butt. Although it is no ones fault but the devs, its so obvious the village was rushed. I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. The responces from CSR seem really depressing. I cant wait till im a jedi and I die, then use my rez ring and still loose Jedi XP.Talk to a CSR and the say,...."there is nothing we can do", or "its your fault because you died".

picking skills beyond those to enhance getting the grind exp doesnt matter. As master tka and sword with fencer thrown in only fs skills that mean anything is melee accuracy and speed to make sword better. After that its just grinding any 4 more boxes. This is the "new" version of requiring massive exp to train useless skills rather the the "old" way of training every profession in the game.
Regardless, only getting one line free means i need 5 more unlocks of lines to train. With two bugged lines that i cant train, that automatically bumps me to 7 unlocks i need, 1 beyond the 6 required for everyone else throwing out the free one i already got in the beginning. And thats if i make it through 5 more unlocks without getting any more bugged lines.

wasn't necessarily talking about you Osheal, more the people who chose ranged speed the first phase 4....and as I said this whole mess is whack i have sympothy for everyone because bugs should be fixed before something goes live.

If you look close enough almost all of the quest giverts give out additional quests in different phases.
I got 2 from Dageron myself.
ITIS NOT JUST ONE NPC qiving out multiple quests
