Thread: Question About Phase II: Vehicle Control Quest...

So, have to complete the ball ache that is the Phase II Vehicle Control quest. Not difficult, just boring.
However, my question is this:
I biked out to the waypoint on Endor for my 3rd pickup. Got to the WP and kited round it at about 250m looking for the ship.
No ship. If this happens, what do I need to do??? I gave up in the end and went hunting. If I go back to it, will the ship have respawned??? Or do I need a new WP from Whip???
Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Are you using the ctrl-m Map? Its always was there for me....the first mission I tryed to locate it just by circling the waypoint and progressing farther away and couldnt locate the ship...after looking at the map, Bingo...there it was.
If you still dont find it, probably concider it bugged and go back and get another from Whip.

I'll head back tonight then and check again. If it ain't there, its off to Whip I go. Joy...

On the overhead map, control-M, it is a BIG green object. You might have to rotate your character or zoom the overhead map to bring it into view, but it really sticks out on the overhead map. The ship dwarfs anything else on that map. It sure beats wandering around the forest looking for it.

I use the overhead map, so its a case of its just not there, not that I can't see it. I'll try again when I get home.

This actually happened to me twice...no ship even when I use the overhead map. However, after circling the WP from Whip I eventually just received the supplies in inventory; no ship and no sith however.
Personally,I think this is another spawn bug. Like a badge the success waypoint is hidden there to earn the item but the graphics, etc. don't load.

yeah on my second trip for more resources i found the ship no spawn and no reward... i circled around 250 m... when i was about 400 m from the ship i saw i got the items... so its kinda bizarre

If you dont go directly to the waypoint after getting it, or you take too long to get there, the ship despawns but the resources are still there you just cant see them. This happened to me and after driving round and round the wp I eventually went over the spot where the ship must have been and I got the message to say I had the resources.

then we should have a timer to show us how long till the ship despawns then.. cause we may get into conversations with friends or maybe we decide to take a break inbetween runs and do some hunting with a friend... is that so wrong ?

Hi everyone
This is not in answer to the original question but a query of my own. Seems no point in a new thread.
When i do this quest can I get the WP and have someone kill me in the village to speed up the progress tp space port, or will death cause the wp to vanish

interesting question that would be the express route to the starport.. but it decays your stuff
