Thread: The grenadiers way to padawan.

Lots of guides using grenades to get combat xp so ill just post another one since alot of people still have trouble.
Needed:
1. Melee prof (im TKM)
2. Feign death (A must)
3. Grenades (C12 for slower xp, therms etc for faster)
4. Brandy and ahrisa
How to:
1. Go to coro to get buffed and get in a bigsolo group (more than 6 people in it)!
2. Travel to Darthomir and get 2 Baz Nitches missions in the same direction (They are around 11k)
3. Go to a lair and TAP it then just peace the lair and wait for the spawn to stop (usually round 13 monsters if you are in big solo grp)
4. Hit feign death and wait for awhile (i usually wait until the monster standing next to me start running away and then another minute)
5. Hit /stand and all of the monsters attack you (this can be seen if all monsters HAM bars are showing) HOWEVER if this doesnt make more than 5 monsters attack you just go to nr 4 again.
6. Throw 4 nades at the LAIR
7. Finish of all teh monsters with spin attacks BUT try not to hit the lair (if you get it down to half its health you have to go and get a new mission)
8. When the monsters are dead hit peace (might need to chase down a few straying monsters)
9. go to you second mission lair and do the same a above (point 3)
10. go back to the first one and you can get 3xlair spaws per mission.
This wasnt a perfect method if you were after money before the solo reamp but now you only get 600 per mission so it doesnt matter. And this probably works for hurton stalkers on dant but this is faster since you are already on darth.

does this work even if you do not have any commando skills? I tried using grenades once but they seemed to go really slowly so it didnt seem to work.

I did 5 tree's this way, but I disagree on fd being a must. I did it without, I just threw nades atthe lair until the first wave were gone, tapped the lair until the next wave showed up, threw nades again. Got 80k xp per lair.

I get 40-60k combat xp per lair doing this and it work perfectly when you are NOT commando. Im only TKM as master prof now so its just to fire away!
The xpvarious because of stupidity, boredom and spawn nr.

Sweet...i might try this again then . Im dont have any commando skills though,
What type of grenades do you recommend - and how much do they cost?
Also wont the mobs kill me before im done throwing the grenades assuming im on dath ? If 13 baz nitches goto work on me at the same time im thinking i wont last very long even if im master tka and medic.

I useC12 grenades (i pay 50k for 25 which probably is a overprice but what the heck we are talking jedi here ). This is the only grenades you can use if you are not commando.
). This is the only grenades you can use if you are not commando. Use a normal 5 piece composit armor (head, legs, chest, boots, gloves) that protect u from kinetic dam and you will be fine. If you start taking dam just get novice medic and you can use stim b's to heal yourself. Plus since you are buffed they wont hit you long enough for you to take em down.

would you recommend the dathomir giant baz nitches from a solo group for this method?

I grinded the giant baz nitches on dathomir in a big solo group. Soif thats what you mean then YES i recommend it!

Rethink that comment I highlighted above. Grenades do damage to yourself as well as everything around you. As such, you would be wise to get some composite armor with good base protection (i.e. greater than 60% blast, etc)instead of worrying just about kinetic. You can do as much, if not more, damage to yourself with grenades if you don't have proper armor. In which case, yes, you'd become thebaz nitches' b!itch.
