You dont have to be commando to use C12 nades, anyone can use them.

don't use grenades, you'll succumb to doing the same thing over and over, the same as "power grinders". member you got 3 weeks per phase, take your time and make fun out of it, go hunt different things, do some group hunts, I just don't get the sanity of some of the people who use the same tactic for their entire fs skills, if I did that I might as well be writing up another weekly report for work...

Instead of asking, go out and about and find what planet/creatures you enjoy. There's no big rush, so try to make at least a little enjoyment to it...

i just max out unarmed 2 handed and pistoleer xp between trips to the village by time i've capped all 3 xp in primary combat i've also capped combat xp then just go and convert in one huge bump

With MFencer/TKM, here's what I do. Get Doc buffs. Get 2 Huurton Stalker missions in the same general direction. Ready up 3 stacks of C12s, drink 2 Brandies, equip armor and Gaffi, go to the first lair. Kill any babies, then start hitting the lair to bring out the next wave. Once 5 are aggro'd on me, I stand in the lair and throw the 3 stacks of C12s. Once they're done, I kill all of the Stalkers that are out. I unequip my Fencer weapon, then using TKM, hit the lair until the next wave starts. Kill that wave and the lair. Ready up 3 more stacks and head for the next mission. Repeat.

I know I can get more spawns from a lair by travelling between, but I can get back to the terminal for more missions in the time it would take to travel between them twice.

This seems to get me FS XP faster than any other method I've tried, but I still seem to get XP slowr than many people report getting here. I have limited time, so I don't get too much at one sitting, so my grind is going to be long.

Also, I wear Ubese armor, and the grenades don't seem to hurt me at all. I do get more wounds and BF than normal, but nothing I can't handle. Also, the armor is damaged a bit by the grenades, but it still holds up prety well.

Important Note: Keep an eye on that Brandy buff indicator!
