It took him 24 hrs from the time I got glowey to come visit. Sith came 24 hrs after that. Watch your spatial chat, stay out of static cities. I just logged into a player city the next day and he came about 15 minutes later.

i've been sat here from morning til night since Saturday

he only took about 20 hours on my other toon

My second visit came within 24 hours. Try this trick:

Shuttle to a Player City (important that it not be a NPC city)

Run out from the shuttleport about 500m (don't use a vehicle)

Run back to the shuttleport (again, don't use a vehicle)

Keep your eyes peeled for the old man

Shuttling seems to give him an idea of where to find you and then he just needs to catch up. This method has worked for me for both of my old man visits.

Attacking things helps too. He came to me in the middle of about 6 Huurtons on Dant!

I believe the trigger is things that cause a 'change' in the game, hence the shuttleing, or attacking.

I am holding him hostage and will release him if you bring me an ADK...meet me in the back room of the Mos Easley cantina at midnight and I will provide you with the WP where he is being held upon delivery of the ransom.

NO FUNNY STUFF OR THE OLD FART DIES !!!!
