hey everyone this is my first post so dont flame me if its stupid. my problem is i have been force sensitive for 3 days now and still no sign of the old man. but also i heard of a rumor that if you die you can lose part of your force sensitivity i died earlier today and was wondering if that is why the old man hasn't come yet. Any info or advice as to how to get him to come would be great.
Thank you
Stena

Also, it's best to be in a Player City, usually about 1,000 M away from the NPC cities

Death can not remove the badges you have earned. I have never heard of death "removing" any of your force sensitivity. There are SO MANY bad rumors that make their way around....... I'd say just be patient and follow the advice of the above posters. There is recorded evidence to suggest that the following MAY speed up his arrival:
-- Log in and out once
-- Take shuttle to player city
-- hang out in player city, or wander around the countryside outside of city and kill easy creatures
.... So after warning you of Bad Rumors, hope I didnt just spread some more!! The only reason I post them is that more than one person has posted that they did these things and got quick visits from the old geezer. However, as far as I knowthere isNo proof that any of these actions were the actual cause of the quick visits. But while you're waiting.... why not try 'em?

They worked for me, too... But did they really work, or was it just the specified time? Who knows?

There is no way to make the old man come faster for the 8448922474298579827 time. People say shuttle here and there, log out 20 mins log back in, etc. Yet people still do this and no old man. Stop listening to all that bs. Just play the game like you normaly do and he will come. For all you know he may have come already but you didn't see him. Just play and keep your eyes open and don't do all the shuttling, logging, etc. If he still hasn't come I bet he will after the next restart then but just be patient and if you want just sit somewhere and wait then or do missions. When your turn is up he will come.

That's what I mean. Many people did these things and swear they work. I think it was just their time...

Hehhe agreeed. I think people said that because when he first came they may have shuttled right at the time and he came so that rumor spread. I also was visited the first day he came out in pub 10 and only took about 1 hour. I basically just chilled and he came.

The old man is getting braver, I have seen him in the same player cantina twice in about 3 days.

Yeah, just go about your business. Go hunting, go grind out some jedi support skills. He will show up when HE is ready. You may as well enjoy the game for a day of two...

Actually, i did some shuttling, also ran (literally) from a player city to a player city, shuttled some more, changed planets (went from somewhere to corellia) shuttled again, was randomly walking around in the wild and decided to pick a fight against crazed durni's or corellian butterfly soldiers(don't really remember, but they werered cons, that was deemed to be important by someone)and as SOON as I entered into fight mode, the old b@stard spawned and came running up to me screaming his head off.
So yes, it *could* be coincidence, but I mean it was dead-on timing. Can't be that much of a coincidence....remember, somewhere it's all zeros and ones, mates.

He came to visit me at my house. I was sitting outside re applying paint to my speeder, and this guy walks into the corner of my screen. I am like o0(who the **** is this guy?) and then I read his name 'old man' lol This was like a day after getting force sensitive. Maybe too, I might have not played a day inbetween.
n00b secret: Don't look for him or think about him showing up. And he will show up faster.
