I left my gloves at home once... BIG mistake. Had to actually heal myself with buffs. Get this set and you're good to go.

Didn't mean did you only grind part of it with your armor on, i mean did you grind like all 6 branches with grenades or just like 2 branches with nades.

1 set of composite armour, 80% kinetic, 70% blast resist.

The only item out of that armour that got worn down to zero condition, was my gloves.
I had to purchase a new set of gloves.

Everything else, i repaired and all worked fine. This was for the entire 6 tree xp grind.

A word of advice: Do NOT get sliced armour for this grind. It just gets knackered so fast it's a waste of credits.
Unsliced armour works fine.

yep, I did whenever I needed to. Saved me a ton of credits. When I was in a hurry to grind and my buddy with FS repair wasn't on, i'd just stash the armor in my droid and buy a new piece, then repair the old when I could get it done. That let me have a lot of extra pieces in case a repair failed.

iv ground out roughly ( i didnt use just nades. i fought normally sometimes) 3 branches worth of xp using nades. im still on the same suit. my chest piece is 80% to electricity/kinetic and 70 to everything else, so not a super expensive piece. the whole suit cost me like 300k i think (its been a while, forgot exact price) and due to having several old armor repair tools at my disposal, im still on the same suit. granted the other pieces are getting low cuzz i always repair my chest piece first, but eh. its all good.

I'd recommend getting composite with high blast resists, too - it looked like the condition went down slower when the armor had blast resists in it.

I also only wore the following to grind with:

Gloves, Legs, Boots, Chest, Helm.

Never bothered with arms, they don't seem to ever get hit.

Haven't started, but my local AS is offeringgood deals on encomberance sliced 80% blast comp, which should help me save some cash. I've also got a crate of 25 99% armor repair kits for 5k, which should help save my armor.

Yup Condition hits are based on the amount of damage that gets through, so higher resists, the longer it lasts.
