Thread: and of course ... Whip mission bugged !!!!

WP to crash site ... tells me the ship must be nearby and of course therer is no ships! Twas the same last round ... WHEN ? WHEN dev will fix something so important that has been known for 3 months !

Same here on Shadowfire. The first trip worked and at the wp the ship appeared in the overhead map. The second trip it said the ship should be nearby. I waited and hour and circled 250 to 1000 meters from the ship still nothing. I will try resetting the quest and hope for the best. Very frustrating as this is my last tree and I've had the fs xp banked for over 2 months
If anyone reading this knows of a workaround please let us know

OK I went back to whip and he gave me a new wp I don;t think I have to start the quest over from scratch (I hope)
When speaking with Whip I had the option to ask for a new beacon wp and he said I understand those emergency beacons arn't as reliable as they should be and loaded a new one to my datapad. Maybe the devs added some false ones in the quest to drive us mad lol
I'll let ya know if this helps me continue the mission.

I think they added it so that when the WP does bug you can reset it
last phase 2 alot of people where unable to finish the quest cus of buged spawns.
this is a "crap you got a bugged spawn, well here try this one" type deal

mine is bugged in the sense that im at the ship..but it doesnt say i picked up the supplies or anything.../shrug

this is my last quest to unlock and it worked first try ...the ship didnt spawn right away i circled for abour 1-2m then the showed up all this while i had overhead map ....and you wont get a message about supplies ..it will just say quest updated...then check ur inventory and look for a crate of supplies which looks like a resource container

ok after I got a new wp from Whip I went to the new wp and found a ship with no sith but got the supplies /cheer

If you get a waypoint near that small lake west of the Smugglar Outpost it is most likely gona be a bugged spawn.

Make sure your datapad's not full. This one got me once.
