What if they brought back the Blue Glowies after a Jedi dies in order to bring continuity back to the game?

How would they do it?

1.) Reinstate the Jedi 'perma'death/blue-glowy.

2.) New Code 66 storyline in order to purge the jedi - regardless of their faction standing.

3.) Recreate the Jedi system and make it a mystery again.

Would you accept something like this?

perma death is not a bad idea (i know, it will never happen again), but SOE needs to do something to cut down on the number of Jedi (wilthlout cutting off new players from attaining it)

I do not hate Jedi, I am almost done with my FS gring, but something needs to be done, there are to many of them.

There are way too many bugs and exploits at the moments for this to be implemented.

Also Jedi would need to made more powerfull to balance out the risk vs reward

What game have you been playing again? Permadeath (although a bit of a misunderstood term) was part of the old Jedi system, where a certain number of death would lead to the Jedi's skills being reset to zero. The jedi would then have to start over from scratch. It was very real.

It is not about there being too many jedi, that isnt the problem. It is about seeing jedi. I think the server could have every player as a jedi, and no one would care as long as you didnt see one.

me, i didn't seek jedi and i didn't become glowy until my 75th badge and i reached 100 badges before becoming jedi. It needs to be randomized again!

RIGHT ON! FYI is the idiots running around with minimags that PO everyone. Jedi are NOT supposed to be so visible. SOE should kill off the loud mouths by have NPCs hunt them and NPC Sith/Jedi/Bounty Hunters/Rebel-Imp forces, could reset your template to 0000/jedi padawan.

On starsider you have the same people FRing around with their glow stick like a bunch of quake fools. PVP is cool and all but there is/was a storyline intended for this game.

NO ONE can tell me their profession was harder to get than my jedi. Oh and for the morons reading that dont belive me... try getting 500-900 jedi Xp while your NON JEDI groupmates are getting 6100+ XP. Oh and you need 200k for the first box 400k, 800k 1.6mil. You need to do this for 4 trees to get the opportunity to try for 3.2million to make master. All the while fighting off + 500k NEGATIVE Xp BHs gave. Oh and you need 2 masters to make cl80. The same CL80 you got in 1 week

And there should be the ability for all those people who make comments like that to be permadeathed for not realizing that this is an online game. and to not take this too seriously.

You bought a Star Wars game that has a story behind it. This isn'ta FPSwhere you can run around and do everything you want when you want to and kill everyone you want to... People buy this game to be immersed in the "Star Wars experience". If there are 2 million Jedi showing off in front of everyone, then the whole concept of having a Star Wars story is demolished.

If you want to be able to have a jedi character with a lightsaber and force powers that you can use frequently - then go buy KOTOR or Jedi Outcast. But if you want to really be immersed in the story, then suck it up and play SWG the way its meant to be played.

I just wish everyone would remember, "It's a game!" People buy games to play the way they like to play it. I pay my $15 a month to run around and have fun. Why should I limit my play to your style? Who cares if there are a lot of Jedi running around, they pay the same amount of money you do to have fun.

I would be in favor of Saber T.E.F., but certainly not Perma-death with Bounty Hunters being the number one most popular profession. There are just too many ways that this could fail, and I'm sure the Jedi population would not be happy about this choice.
