Tbh honest mate i fink the dev made a good choice in changing to this new system and yes the grind is very long but i reckon if u want to be a jedi tht badly then u shud be prepared to grind for tht long, its about comittment and wen u finish it all u have a sense of achievement

Grind xp or grind out 32 professions? hmmm tough choice.

This new system is much easier I don't know why you are complaining.

This new system isn't even grinding. You can play the game and cap out xp once per day and achieve enough xp for each branch in that 3 week time period. People can play the game now. It's better

I’m a veteran of both systems, and the new system is far superior, not having an element of change. Besides, the quests are fun, and the rewards cool. The only issue with the new system is it’s to easy to complete each phase, IMHO.

Well, I prefer the new system over the old system, but I think BOTH of them are unoriginal.

A well-thought out quest system would have been fun (and I dont mean most of the mindless ones from the village phases).

For example, I really liked the fact that you had to acquire the many badges just to get into the Village.

Even though I had almost all of them when the new system came into being, it at leastrequired exploration and a offered some VARIETY.

Somehow "Gokillat least 44,100animals" (5K xp each) doesnt seem like the right path to become Jedi.

I haven't done the exist quests yet, but they sound more along the lines of what I am imagining.

The Dev's have a minimum amount of play time required to get Jedi, the difference between old and new is now they have a mechanism to ensure that timeframe is kept.

I know someone who unlocked on 8, YES 8(EIGHT), professions, that my friends is a joke. Do I like the fatc we have to grind insane ammounts of EXP out? Hell No! Do I like the 3 week waits between phases? Hell No! But I DO agree the path to Jedi must be hard, and have a set ammount of work, so we don't get people unlocking on silly numbers of professions.

The ONLY thing I hate about the new system is, like every other Star Wars game, it forces us to do things the Light "Goody-Goody" way, I'm sick of it, I want to destory the village as a Sith Shadow, then fight perhaps one, or many of the Village NPCs in an exit quest. I hate the fact we get no choice in the way we unlock, I'm a Sith/Dark Jedi, always have been, always will be, no matter what game if we can play Sith/DJ then I will do it.

Maybe think about that devs.

Its funny,

if you really think that force xp grinding is difficult just GIVE UP NOW. Because once you get your Jedi, you will realize that the force grind was ABSOLUTELY nothing compared to the grind you have in store. Imaging grinding for WEEKS by yourself, no grouping possible (well possible but you'll be on the terminals faster than your lightsaber can ignite, then your into negative xp) just to obtain enough xp for one box! In the long run I would say 50% of the people who unlock will become disgusted with the grind and end up either quitting or Ebaying their account.

I guess my point is this:

The new system is a much better way of unlocking jedi. If the grind is something that is hard for you to swallow, give up because you will not like jedi one bit. The people that have the best chance are those that don't mind the grind, just enjoy the experience. Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh, but believe me it is the truth.

again my personal opinion is that to even begin the village you must be a 12 month veteran... like a veteran reward.

That's a really good idea, but 12 months is too excessive, 6-4 months would be more appropriate.
