Right i unlocked my first tree and was like cool lets grind that xp
Some reason i have not been grinding, I have been killing more but i have not been grinding hour after hour grenading things
I am learning commando (based on the grenade thing) but ended up wanted to play with flamer?
I here alot of people saying thier grinding (i spend hours on this forum in the last week)
I would say at this moment i am not grinding FS
i wounder what the percentage is of grinders vs non grinders?

I must say im not grinding, I do the vilage quests get the rewards unlock but I go about doing the things I did before and when I get enough XP I travel to the village and trade it in.
To date I have filled one tree and half way through a second.

What you've gotta keep in mind is that no matter how fast you get FS xp, you are still constrained by how fast the village shifts. Now, using the grenade route you can obviously bank enough xp to fill multiple boxes at once, but at best you can still only reach jedi a couple of weeks quicker than those that use more conventional routes. In my humble opinion, grinding is rubbish, but I must confess to doing a bit of it myself. I reckon you'll have a lot more fun if you just do it at a pace which is fun for you.
Remember, the game will still be here next year.....you don't need to achieve everything next week.
Have fun!

I'm doing some pretty heavy grinding. I've got 4 boxes left till I finish my 6th tree. At 1.85 million credits a tree (in nades/gwk)its overly frustrating. I figure I have about 8 buff sessions left before I finish thefinal 1.6 millionFS xp thatI need.

I am not, at least not any more since I finished banking all the XP today
But seriously I did some pure grinding (killing stormtroopers at a static spawn), but mostly I just went about my business killing various critters to harvest rescources.

I see that most people are the same as me, not heavily grinding but unlocking the quests
I have been reading the quests and some of them look very hard (50K mobs etc, it suprises me that jedi should be a solo thing.
i think i try and do phase 3 tonight

Grinding, grinding, grinding, and nothing but grinding. I'll be unlocking my last skill this Phase 3, but I still have about 2.5 million FS XP left to grind out. I'm hoping to get this done sometime around the first week or two of February.

I grind some with grenades. When I do, I can get 200K of FS XP per buff using C12's. But, it is SO boring. If that was all I did, I would lose my mind. So, I also play and have fun. Any XP I get during those times is just bonus. I have almost 14 boxes out of my 24 boxes, and I am in no particular hurry. To me, it is more important to keep having fun. Jedi will come (patience my young padawan).
I am SO glad phase III is here again. I have four guild mates that all are ready to do the melee accuracy quest. I LOVE helping people with this quest. It is the best one out there in my opinion.

I am NOT grinding!
I do the Village Quests to unlock and get the reward, then go about my business.
I deceided to drop Master Pistoleer and pick up Master Rifleman instread, so any "grinding" that I'm doing is for my profession, not FS xp.
To date, I've only filled the novice Senses and novice Combat boxes and almost have the xp for novice Reflexes. I've completed all the quests for the Reflex unlocks and 2 of the 4 Combat unlocks. I didn't hologrind either, so I'm doing it the old fashioned way, at a pace I enjoy. I'll unlock (I hope) Melee Accuracy with this Phase and Ranged Speed in Phase 4. After that I have to wait until Phase 3 to roll around again to unlock Luck.
I figured I'd unlock all the branches I might want to fill and then fill them when I deceide to go for Jedi. At this point, I still enjoy playing my character as built now.

At first i was going the "when i get it I get it route" and not grinding. But then I got within striking distance. In the last week I've started grinding and have 5 more boxes to go. I hope to be finished by next weekend.

I would say I am not grinding. I have already unlocked 6 lines and have completed 1 while only finishing 1 block of the other 5. This phase I plan on running the Melee Accuracy quest (so i don't have to grind out the senses exp and can just use combat exp from here out.)
Generally, I just play the same way I always have and trade in my exp as it caps out naturally through regular gameplay. I figure it would be another few months of normal play for me to be about ready to try the initiate quest. For me, currently at least, I'm more interested in the bonuses from the FS skills than I am in getting Jedi. I realize how much more of a grind Jedi is at least until you hit 0,0,4,4 Lightsabers. I'm not looking forward to getting owned by BH's either as I have never been that great of a PVP'er.
I guess though, that eventually natural gameplay will fill in my FS skills then I'll think about Jedi. Enjoying TK/Doc too much for now.

I'm not grinding either. Sure, I may get a buff and do a buff session in a day, but that's really the extent of it. I've unlocked the 6 branches that I wanted. But, otherwise I'm just playing how I normally play. I was glowy within a week after the Jedi revamp. And, since then, other than novice boxes, I have filled a grand total of 4 out of the required 24.
At this pace, I think I'll make Padawan in 2007.
Heh, I am one of those rare people (it seems) who actually enjoy playing the game and doing all kinds of different things. I don't get burnt out or bored with the game, and I'm having a lot of fun. It doesn't bother me at all that it will take so long to reach Padawan...and then Knight. I'm just enjoying the ride.
