Hi,
I am not grinding either. I unlocked 5 out 6 branches which include the crafter branches. I have only my novice senses box which I got passively from merchant xp and scouting xp.
I am wondering if any non-grinding crafter actually managed to fill up a single crafting branch yet. It takes so long to get any crafting xp (like 1000 FS xp a day on average) and I have to fill up 16 boxes of them. I'll guess I will be padawan in a year or fourteen. But I refuse to grind as I want to play the game, not to mindless click on resources. Pitty they have given the crafters such slow approach.

I've been slacking on my grindage. Space has just been too much fun... well more fun than grinding anyway. I've unlocked four quests so farand I haven't done more than the Novice boxes yet. Incidently, I have 3 characters (including my force sensitive) going through their tier 3 missions and a fourth on the way. /sigh... I guess I'll have to get back to work (err.. the grind)eventually.

Grinding is boring... But it will be a lot better if you could get starship xp convertible into FS xp... I would already have the xp if I did only grind every time I played...
So, yes, I'm a grinder, but I'm a player before all

I split my time up between grinding and playing. Depends on the mood I'm in (and what's on TV). If I don't feel like playing the game, then I grind. Let's face it, it doesn't take all that much involvement to accept missions, travel there, stand on the lair and run your grenade macro.

But lately, I've been having fun (and making money) harvesting Towa, and before that I was enjoying myself trying to loot aakuan rings,or crystals from NS's or SMC's.
I'd say at this point, I'm 60% playing, 40% grinding. A month ago I was like 95% grinding. Like I said, it all depends on what I feel like. Oh, and how much money I need to support my dirty grinding habits. haha

i kinda do both.
i have one tree branch complete from a free unlock, and 2 unlocked. i spend almost all my time hunting with friends, pvping, and guild events. but sometime swhen i have nothing else to do i might grind out a box or two, using c12 nades. but i dont grind constantly at all. very boring. i want to be a jedi, but i dont want to screw up my template and get commando, and im definatley not in a rush to getjedi anyways.

To the original poster of this thread the phrase,"playing with a flamer" takes on a whole new meaning to someone who lives in San Fransisco.

I don't really grind the fs xp either. I spend most of my time hunting jedi and trading investigation xp for fs xp, but occassionally I will grind a whole buff session by hunting bols sincethey givealrightpistol xp. Ican't wait, however to unlock my secondcharacter which will probably be a rare female rodian bh.

i have been casually unlocking branches every three weeks since the village opened. i had one box filled from normal xp gain when a friend of mine informed me that he had unlocked his jedi. that inspired me so i did a little research, dedicated myself to just grind fs... and filled all six branches in the last 14 days.
if you want a jedi... i would not wait.one of thegoals of the combat upgrade is to make it so we can't solo everything. that, combined with the surge of new jedi, leads me to believe that unlocking after the combat upgrade may be much more difficult and take much longer.

im grinding, been doing the gernade method, i waited till last week to start grinding, now i only have 3 boxes left to unlock.

I didnt start really doing anything till just before my 5th unlock. Then I used the grenade method and unlocked 3 days after my 6th unlock. That was 3 weeks ago..... now im mastering professions. One ive mastered all the professions but politician Ill start Jedi and do politician concurently. Ive been playing since launch and for most of that time I was a smuggler. I think by the time ive finished all the professions I will feel deserving of playing a jedi... cause doing the village method was way too easy IMO.

grind grind grind bah get that xp dont let soe hold you back from getting your jedi anylonger than you have to heres something to think of the xp for fs is easy compared to jedi so if your not grinding you should see your knight title somewere around 2010 the game ahs been changed there is no other choice but to grind once i get my jedi knight i will enjoy playing the game for now i grind to achieve my goal
