I think its to keep lower level players from getting to the village. It's sort of a right of passage, if you can make it to the village you can probably survive there for at least a couple of minutes.
It sure would be nice to have a shuttle there though.Maybe they could just make it so that only players at a certain level could board the shuttle.

it wont happen, the trip to the village is part of the whole, "this needs to take up alot of time" mindset you know? even though i usually just alt+tab out and surf the net until i hear myself get stuck behind a tree or start a fight with nightsisters.
sorry but the trip is part of the "experience"!

It's not to keep lower levels from reaching the village, all you have to do is drive around the red dots. The Sith outlaws, pirates etc. are designed to make the lower levels become more powerful before they commit to FS. A shuttle is not placed there becausethe trip out isanother timesink for the players as well as a means to take people out ofbecoming/completing FS who find the trip to be a waste of time.
The trip is just something to add to the tedium of the FS grind. Plus a shuttleport would be seem out of place in a village that can't defend itself in the first place. ![]()

Shame the vehicles we have in the game aren'tas fast (top speed) asin the films, then the trips to the Village wouldn't be so bad lol.

Also this Village has clearly cut itself off from most technology and civilization. It would not make much sense to have a shuttleport!

Maybe it's because the Galactic Travel Commission - i.e. the folks you pay when you take a shuttle - are run / overseen by the Empire?

Probably because a crashed group of refugees dont have the resources to build a shuttleport and supply themselves with a working shuttle..also if the village had a shuttle port it would make it awefully easy for imps to find wouldnt it ???? i propose it be like the rebel base on dantooine. You do a quest in orbit of dathomir if your force sensitive and if you complete the quest the space station will allow you to land at the village any time you want too.

I dont see why they can't give us a transport crystal (like they have for the myyydril caves on kashyyyk).

Meh. Sorry this isn't Star Trek, I personally don't like the idea of the Myyydril caves one either.
