Ok so you want to do phase 3 melee accuracy Quest its so simple even a dog chasing its tail can do it.

But too the Point.

For those of you that spend your time running around trying to figure out how to beat thoseturrets i've got a list for you .

1. Bring Droids that can Attack .....

2. Bring up to 5 to 7 friends .... you may only need 5 depending on there lvl and smarts .

3. Don't Get all Gung Ho or bea Cowboy you'll get killed.

Step 1. Use your droids to attack the turrets as the turrets will not attack you... or the droid....

Step 2. The Shield Generator.... Why run around with one set of passcodes and the device when you could have 3 or more.

Step 3. After that Generator is down be sure to stay back far enough so you don't get ganked by the 3rd turret .

Step 4. Take down the gate. "The Sith Appear" The average amount is up to 17 that i've noticed.... and they do respawn !!

Step 5. Take out the 3rd Turret use the droids or a rifle man with more range then you can currently shoot at..

Step 6. Finish the last gate and kill 5 Sith.... Don't forget to kill your 5 sith

Step 7. U've Captured the Commander now get him back to the village....

Step 8. Don't take too long or the Commander will gank himself .... try to stay 40 to 50 m ahead .... nothing less nothing more.

Step 9. Defend your friend or partner as they take the commander back to the village and remember TIME is ticking !

1 hr approximately. Small reminder note: Should the server crash any time before you try to attempt to do the mission the

Commander will gank himself in 20 mins or less.... Trust me i've seen it happen to 2 people its not a pretty sight... and you'll

spend another 2 hrs waiting.

Step 10. On my Server the Sith at Delta Base do not do alot of Damage as they do at other bases possible SOLO . can

be preformed here...

If you've already passed and have gotten your crystals then congrats you no longer need this guide.

Another thing to note, that your droids can attack the third turret before the shields come down. This saves a lot of death for your team. All you need is patience.

Once the third turret is down, then lower the shields. Then the Sith spawns are easy.

When you have the commander, and you're in a team, you just keep walking him to the village. Let everyone else worry about clearing a path for you and taking care of the Sith who want the commander back.

I think I did this about a dozen times this weekend. The only time it failed is when someone on the team violated these few rules, and took on an elite nightsister, and the one leader the commander decided to help fight, instead of moving on.

BTW, nice guide!!!

Just to expand on this, you can do this with 2 people as long as you both are team players and play smart. I am CL80, and had a CL80 friend that wanted to do it.

I had the remote, he had the capture portion of the mission. We went to the base and called out our probot combat droids. Had them both pound on the same turret. When that was done then finish the second turret. After that it was onward to the gate, and then the third turret. Takes some patience but the droids get the job done. Once that is complete, I called down the shields. The Sith spawn as soon as the shields are called down.

Once the shields are down, and the Sith spawn, I took out a rifle and dragged a few to us. We dispatched 5 easily. The commander is supposed to spawn when the 5 Sith are killed. The sticky above says that you get a message on yoru screen but I never got one. After we killed 5, the turrets were down, as well as the gate. Now is the time you need to work together. What I did was run up to the big Sith spawn in front of the base. I targeted one and did an AOE. This got all of their attention and they came at me. I immediately ran after doing the AOE and every single Sith followed me. I had to spam BactaShot to stay alive. The longer I was alive the longer they followed me. While this was happening my friend ran into the base and captured the commander with no opposition.

After awhile the Sith stopped following me and went back to the base. I made a big circle and caught up to my friend who had the commander in tow. He just kept walking to the village and I would dispatch any Sith that attempted a rescue.

Hope that helps someone out there.

Good concise guide. One thing I would like to add.

The person escorting the commander should never attack, that's what the supporting group is for.

He/she should keep the commander targeted at all times and hit tilda (~) and 2 on their keyboard every 30 seconds or so.

Tilda brings the radial up on the commander and 2 is the follow me command. This gets rid of the annoyance of the commander occationally deciding the bail and head back to the fort.

Why don't you go back and look at that post. I posted on it twice telling you I would help you if you played on my server.

Great guide. I have acouple of questions though:

1. Who gets credit (an unlock) for completing the mission? Is it sufficient to be part of the group - assuming you have talked to the captain and received the quest - or do only two players (the one calling down the shield and the one with the commander in tow) get the unlock at a time?

2. Assuming you were not part of a group when you got the quest from the captain, can you still get the additional reward for teamwork if you join a group?

3. Do I need to actually loot a datadisk containing a waypoint or can I just use the coordiantes posted in this forum and head out on my own? I take it frequency devices are usuable only once. What about the waypoints? Do I need to loot the waypoint to a base again after I failed the mission?

4. Concerning droids: droids are not attacked by turrets and can attack the third turret inside the base without a LOS?

5. Is is even possible to complete any of the farther bases in time? A while ago, my group did very well on delta (2.5K away) andreturnedto the village withoutdelay, butthe commander commited suicide justin front ofthe gate. How fast can the commander go? Will he run if the capturer runs too? Should the player towing the commander posses the navigate terrain ability?

After failing this mission numerous times I am a bit unnerved, so every help offered would be really appreciated.

Only the one taking down the shield and the one escorting
gets credit for the mission. But, everyone in the group
can get credit with a little more work.

If you have a full group, get shield remotes for 6 other
bases. Hand those out to the rest in the group and have
them go disable the shields on those bases. Once they are
back to the base where you are gonna capture the commander
proceed as you would normally do. Everyone in the group
should get credit. I haven't tried this myself, but I heard
about some groups doing it like this.

You don't need to loot the waypoint disk.

Yes, you can use a droid to take down all the turrets.
It will take a little while though.

Should be able to complete it from a base 3-3.5k out with
a little time to spare.

1. Only the 2 players doing the 2 different tasks.

2. Yes, you dont have to be grouped then take the misson.

3. Waypoints are fixed, but you need the deactivation codes of the shield for the spesific base you want to do the quest on.

4. Droids can not attack the one inside before the gate is taken down, we had to manually take down the gate last night (droid wouldnt do it) we has some good tanks though (turret fire hurts ).

5. We started 6.5 km from the village last night, lots of up and down and slow commander (he wont run =. He died 1300 m from the village, a good 4 hour waste on that quest, glad i allready go it . So to be safe i would take the 5 km radius and below, that should be ok.

Good guide...it does work...

unfortunately I still haven't completed it yet...why?

me (lvl 77 currently) and a random person I met (who had the shield remote already) went to get the commander at a base about 2700m away from the village. We used the droid way and had them hitting the turrets while we sat outside of the range safe from the turret fire. We destroyed the first two turrets and had started on the third, when some retards decided to screw us over and drop the shield and take the base with their group of 5. In the process the sith agroed to us and we were killed simply because we didn't know what the hell was going on till we were dead. My random partner said he talked with a CSR about the people who stole the base from us but we haven't heard if any of them had actions taken against them even though the CSR said something would be done.

The person who stole the base claimed the base was his because he dropped the shields first...

IMO if you start attacking the base it should be your's....no one outside of your group should be able to attack it or deactivate the shields...

another way of doing it is by making the bases instanced....then again...that would make sense...wouldn't want the Dev team to use their brains or anything...

just a warning to watch out for retard griefers while trying this strategy...
