Don't just imagine. Try TC now.
Now Im worried that all my efforts will be gone with CU.
I made all fsxp and waiting for 4 more phases.
I like current SWG very much. It really gives feeling that Im in star wars universe.
Go try CU guys.
You will see you are no where but odd place. WOW ? EQ2? what the h of this game?
CU spoils all good mood in swg. Go try TC. Don't just say like 'swg needs upgrade', 'we need changes'...etc
I'm not sure if I will play along if CU comes out.
I play swg because it has it own universe. you cant compare swg to any other games. I love it.
Actually I quit EQ2 and chosed to play swg. but well CU.... its no more swg....
jedi will be 1.5x stronger than other profession. Its totally BS.
Jedi only require 1.5x effort to be?
What u guys thinking?
Dev didn't know that the fact 'JEDI is core of SWG'
They bother to control jedi populations. why? It's mmorpg. Even single game like kotor1, kotor2 have a lot of jedis in it. But no problem at all.
But all changes from CU is curse to all jedis and jedi wannabe.
If you are here to be jedi. First try CU. and suggest what u really think about it. If not, you will just flame and blame CU when it comes out.

I think the Devs should rename it to Combat Downgrade.As thats what it is effectively.

I tried TC5 to.
Some parts can be changed. like armors, weapons and some mroe things. but hell. why make it a cehap wow-copy group-game. im here because its like it is. if i wanted wow i would play wow.
swg might need a few more quests to. but its not nesesary to make a new game..
But SOE lost money when wow came out and i guess they want to offer the same thing. the thing is that they will ose even more if this goes live. people that choosed wow will get back once they realize that wow actually isnt better than swg..
i tryed wow to for a short time. you can only do one thing. and that is fallow your friends path, doing same quests, doing same everything, at least in the beginning, ive heard its better when you get toplvl. but hey, that takes a year for a full working person(?) so screw that
once again, yes there are good things with CU. but as i said, they dont need to make a new game! most of the users are here because it is what it is. i like buffs and all we have..
could write alot more but got ago. sorry if i sounded to negative, we will just have to wait until after and see where the devs takes us. until then i guess all we can do is post here in forums and hope they see whats about to happen..

The combat upgrade blows and will be a huge dissapointment if it goes live. I hate ac2/eq/wow with a passion. SWG has it's own style currently that I have come to love. Whoever got the idea do screw swg over with this upgrade should seriously rethink their actions before they lose another subscriber who LOVES the current SWG.

You guys are really bumming me out. I'm so closed to finshing the force xp stuff and with the combat downgrade it sounds like if I can't get a party of 15 together I'll never complete missions. That stinks for those of us that solo mostly because we can only get on for an hour or two every now and then. I know it's a whine but man, it seems like everytime I get used to something they completely revamp it.

i will agree 100% i havent tried TC but just from what i hear and the already attempted "fix" on the economy is just making my love for this game dwindle and i will most definitly stop playing it if the CU launches

Its quite interesting that the biggest opponants of the CU are either Jedi, FS Grinders or have been here less than a year.....
