not all of us oppose it. I'm a Jedi and looking forward to the CU. I'm not after an Uber character, like many of the powergamer Jedi out there.
I play my Jedi for fun, and because it's where I wanted to be.
I'm still just at Novice sabers, not actually gotten close to getting other skills yet. But it's still great fun.

Im FS grinder, and look forward to the CU. After playing it on TC, it was just as being back in the early days.. I enjoyed those times.. And it looks good having them back again..

However, for people who has played it less then a year.. I can understand why they dont like what its too come.. They never seen it before..

Only thing is, is what i enjoy most about SWG is that if i log on and want to go kill some stuff I can go do that. I can grind out exp and solo if i want to, not sitting around for hours looking for a group to go kill things.I dont want tohave to be in a group to get decent exp I quit EQ for this very reason. Yes you could solo in EQ but not effectivly enough to make a EXP grind worth your time. I like getting a big group and doing DWB, but honestly thats the only content int he game that you need a sizable group for. That's why i play SWG, i can log on and get something done, be it make some cash from some easy mission, grind out some FS, or just got kill endless waves of ewoks. I hope the DEV's understand this and that most of the comunity feels this way. I dont want this to turn into a game where I have to get a group to get something done.

Totally agree with you bro. I've been with this game since launch and I've played TC and overall I like it. The main issue that concerns me is the same one that concerns you - the whole group dependency. I hope solo play will still be a viable option for those of us that like to play that way. I got the station pass for this game and EQ2 and I have not been back to EQ2 simply because you pretty much HAVE to group to progress in the game. The "new" two-move combat and queer icons were definitely adopted from EQ2 and I hate it. It's ok in EQ2, but doesn't belong in SWG imo....neither does the gay white blob that appears everytime you hit something...imagine group PvP lol, what a mess...hope they get rid of it or drastically tone it down.

Good point.

Anyone who's been here for even a month should know that the game needed changing. True, maybe a complete overhaul of the combat system was a bit drastic, but that is what makes SWG... SWG. From the beginning SWG was made to be a constantly-changing MMO, it's what the developers had in mind.

So for all you people complaining about the Combat Upgrade, quit whining and get on with it.

Rangers/scout atm dont like it either.
And ive been here since launch, and have been eagerly awaiting the CU, and well if it goes live like this ill leave for good.

Wow....it's only been on TC for three days, has over a MONTH of testing to STILL do, and you people ALREADY condemn it? Why? It's different? Look PAST the fact that it is not the status quo, and decide if it is not BETTER. For you. And for the game.

Not that strange, cause they are uber now and after CU they get hunted by a BH, like it should....

They all nag about it to be a bad game now, cause the xp goes slow etc etc.

Well if they dont like the game being changed, lets get back to days of PERM DEATH.

Then they will whine again and again, it is never good for them.
