Thread: Genuine good news about publish 22
Yet another thing they forgot to add in the publish notes. Have they run out of coffee?

nah maybe they just accidentally modified a line of code that coincidentally got it working, i mean the devs intentionally fixing something, thats a rarity
has it ever happened? they 'intend' to fix stuff then eitehr break the same thing more or make no change and anything related is broken

you know, i dont know any of you, but do any of you know about writing code for a game? let alone an MMORPG?? quit talking crap about "oh the devs must have accidentally fixed it cause they dont know what theyre doing" if you dont like it ....quit
Many of the bugs in the game are induced by bad programming practices. That is my professional opinion.

i do actually and yes it is difficult but when theres as many programmers working for SOE they have less excuss for mistakes and bugs

I can't agree there, the more hands there are typing code for the game the more chance for bugs to be introduced.
Were it possible, I'd think a single programmer would create fewer bugs than the many we have trying to write code over each other's code.
No it's just flames r' us.

I was under the impression that i payed these people to program my game for me so i don't really give a crap how hard it is. maybe if they don't like getting MMORPG code right then they're the ones who should quit and go back to frying burgers. How can anyone stand up for the DEVs now after the publish 22 chaos? Now you're going to try and tell us how hard their jobs are. sitting on your ass staring at a computer? It's not like they're digging ditches or doing manual labor. are you forgetting that they just tried to force you into playing their broken game eight times as much as before for the same amount of exp? whatever you say to this is pointless because you are obviously a Sony spy posing as one of us! I guess you're right, i should pay my fifteen dollars a month and however much for the stupid expansions so the developers can take it easy and drink freaking cocktails when they should be programming a game. their job is obviously so much tougher than anyone else's in the world so we should give them a break right? everyone works except for the stupid little kids who play this game, you're probably one of them with your cavalier attitude. maybe thats it! you'rea kid of a sony spy and you're sticking up for your dad. Well tell your dad i said SUCK IT UP. I'll gladly switch jobs with anyone in SOE because it probably consists of sitting around in a lazy boy laughing and counting money.
and i don't want to hear any crap about quitting, that's something a goofball like you would probably do, quit the moment something doesn't go exactly your way.
