How can anyone stand up for the DEVs now after the publish 22 chaos? Now you're going to try and tell us how hard their jobs are. sitting on your ass staring at a computer? It's not like they're digging ditches or doing manual labor. are you forgetting that they just tried to force you into playing their broken game eight times as much as before for the same amount of exp? whatever you say to this is pointless because you are obviously a Sony spy posing as one of us! I guess you're right, i should pay my fifteen dollars a month and however much for the stupid expansions so the developers can take it easy and drink freaking cocktails when they should be programming a game. their job is obviously so much tougher than anyone else's in the world so we should give them a break right? everyone works except for the stupid little kids who play this game, you're probably one of them with your cavalier attitude. maybe thats it! you'rea kid of a sony spy and you're sticking up for your dad. Well tell your dad i said SUCK IT UP. I'll gladly switch jobs with anyone in SOE because it probably consists of sitting around in a lazy boy laughing and counting money.

and i don't want to hear any crap about quitting, that's something a goofball like you would probably do, quit the moment something doesn't go exactly your way.

That's not quite accurate.

What you are actually doing is paying SOE for the privilege of playing the game they program. Unless you buy a custom built car, when you go to the dealership you pay to buy the car that the car company has made, to their specifications, not yours.

It's the same with the game. We're paying to play the game they give us.

It's not like you can go to McDonalds and demand flame-broiled burgers from them just because you paid for a burger. That's not how they make them. If you want flame-broiled you gotta suck it up and go elsewhere.

dont you love it how he accuses me and my dad of working for sony, and being sony spies who post as normal ppl on the forums? LAFFO. then when he tells me id quit? ive been at this game since march 04, bought it launch day. LAWLZORLOLS he thinks he has a point.

plus he thinks the devs just look at a computer screen all day. ya, all of them do that, including the programers, code checkers, community relations people... etc, theyve all got jobs.

LAFFO @ motiviationboy, the genius

All I know is that I'm sure as hell glad these programmers don't work for NASA. You couldn't just roll time back a few days when you f**k up there.

Wow, someone who is responding to the thread hijackers above.

Yes, it adds 900 mind for 2 hours. Not sure about reuse timer, It said 0 last time I checked it. It better not be a 1 time use.

Oh, and you have approx 1000 mind to start with (hidden stat that I think is modified by species), so it's quite useful.

quitch, i was being quite sarcastic and if you cant tell that then you probably need someone to hit you in the head with a tack hammer. and you guys can say whatever you want but all i was trying to say is that the DEVs are NOT your friends. so don't stick up for them when all you are is another fifteen dollars a month to them. So they "heard" something about exp being too high and decided to change it. well i hear alot of things too but it doesn't mean i just act on what i hear without really testing it or checking with people who might know more than i do. the problem is that the developers and people who work on this game never play it themselves. maybe if they made a game that they could bear to play as well as make they wouldn't have so many people complaining. i wouldn't want to play a game if it was my job but i would also try to at least make it into something i would like to play if i was going to play it.

i can't belive you had to post about my post twice just because you were so upset, writing stupid internet terms like "LAFFO" and "LAWLZORLOLS" whatever the hell all that baby talk crap means. if you like the developers so much you should find one and marry them. My only real point was that Sony does not care about its customers and that has been pretty much proven without a doubt. don't believe me? crawl out of the hole you've dug yourself on these forums, take a look at any other independent website relating to MMORPGs and they will all tell you one of the biggest problems with this game is customer relations and CSRs in particular. I don't care how or why they changed exp for the short time they did. What i care about is that they didn't even bother to tell people they were doing it, and they did was callgroup exp "fixed". what a freaking laugh fest.

I'm not saying that their job is easy, i'm saying quite the opposite. ALL jobs involve WORK. that's why they call it "work". So i don't understand why sitting in front of a computer typing code is so hard COMPARED TO MOST OTHER PEOPLE'S JOBS. If i screw up at my job i have to fix it and make it up to the people who i inconvienced by doing so. ITS A JOB. it's not playtime in super happy fun land so why the hell are you trying to stick up for them?

Not everyone in the entire company is a programmer? Seriosuly? Shocker. However when i say developers i mean everyone involved in the development in the game, not the programmers. it's not really their fault, it's the people who make the decisions about the direction of the game. Get a clue. hope that makes you laugh out loud you stooge.

and to whoever orginally made this post, sorry i'm an @$$hole but this other guy on your post is just completely out of it. His dad is an investment banker!

WHEN PEOPLE HAVE A JOB TO DO THEY ARE EXPECTED TO DO IT. No matter what their job is you investment banker's son. end of story.

sorry, didnt mean to start a b1tch fest. i think its good that the devs are both fixing things AND moving forward. if they did nothing but fix stuff the game would get uber boring.
