I have not made it this far yet... but I prefer going at most things alone if I can... mainly because I like to roleplay the hermit lifestyle... but anyways what I need to know is have people soloed the exit quest (Mallichai or however you spell it) and if it has been done... how is it done???

The sticky guide above says you can do it if you are double melee prof and some healing... but according to me i think its hard even though Ive heard people doing it. Just pulling one guy away from the rest and so on. Harder for melee dudes than ranged too.

You can always try but im gonna do the safer thing and ask my guildies for help!

I'll read the stickies.... thanks...

And I don't have any "guildies" so I won't be asking them... lol... I dropped out of my guild a long time ago for differences in playstyle opinions... but thats a whole nother story... lol....

the exit quest can be solo'd....If your a ranged profession it's easier, you can kite. Melee professions are a little tougher because you have no defense vs. lightsaber.....so what's the use in wearing armor... anyway, I've seen 1 person do it with ranged professions and I now another guy who says he did it....I take his word for it as anything in this game can be solo'd with the right tactics and luck......I'll be doing this solo within the next week (depends on how much time I have to play)....so if I'm able to solo it....I definite post how I was able to do it.

Personally though, I got my butt kicked by mellichae on TC.....that was only because he kept healing himself and I didn't know about the crystals at that time....otherwise, I would have beat him....his buddies weren't hard though.

I plan on trying it solo before I get friends involved...

I'll use conceal shot liberally, first the crystals, then the cronies, then the man himself.

I offed some high level sith I found (45k ham types) loitering around the Science outpost last night this way.

"There were young knights among them who had never been present at a stricken field. Some could not look upon it, some could not speak. They held themselves apart from the others who were cutting down prisoners at my lord's orders, for the prisoners were a body too numerous to be guarded by those of us who were left.
Then Jean de Rrye, an aged knight of Burgundy who had been sore wounded in the fight, rode up to the group of young knights and said: "are ye maidens with your downcast eyes? Look well upon it. See all of it. Close your eyes to nothing. For the battle is fought to be won, and this is what happens if you lose."

Yep... as a m.rifle, took me about 20mins to finish... pulls and conceals are the way to go. Do the prone+bleed shot and run thing to get Mallichae and his strong buddy to move away from the crystals (attacking the crystals with conceal will agro all near mobs), then the thugs and crystals are easy.

The issues are the 80% resists (too all but lightsaber), 50k hams and his lightsaber... so I'm not sure if you can survive his fast 1k+ hits. Keep in mind that you probably need to take down the crystals before using any CM goodies... of course you could use some short life poison to pull... so maybe... anyone try this?
