Thread: Dev's Question: is it 6 trees or ANY 24 FS boxes to unlock?

I have 4 trees and a box unlocked...do i have to unlock 6 trees or can the other 7 boxes be from any tree to unlock? Another words is it ANY 24 boxes or is it 6 trees?
Please ONLY answer if you are 100% sure this is the way it MUST be done.

You need 6 FULL branches. YES i am 110% sure. Do not spread the last around to random boxes or you will set yourself way back. It is 6 FULL Branches

No problem man but a DEV, CSR, nor SOE rep will nor read nor reply to this post. Trust me. Plus people have alreayd said they had 24 skills boxes done but not in 6 full branches and had to re-do it. But if you want to keep waiting it is your choice. /bow

ahhh I was looking for the post that someone had 24 boxes but didn't open. I will hunt again today. If i can confirm that then I will be satisfied.

I have an idea, you try for the 24 random boxes method, then you get back to us.
In the meantime I'll continue with the 6 full branches (6 tier 4 boxes) method and I'll meet you on the other side!

Well to answer your question. And I'm sorry I'm not a dev or csr. The fact is you need 24 boxes excluding nov and masters they don't count. Not 6 branches. This is what Thunderheart say I wish I could remember the link link for it where he discussed it. So let say you had opened every branch you could get the first box of all for 16 boxes and the second box of half of them for the other 8 for 24 boxes. It doesn't matter just 24 boxes excluding nov and master. I am possitive 100% the only reason people are doing 6 trees is because of the gating. they don't want to wit another 3 weeks between opening branches. and think about it this way 16 branches = 45 weeks or a year to do it that way. So most and before the follow up comes yo9u can still do the fs after you unlock so you can master all 4 with your jedi.

LOL hey if you do this and 3 weeks after you unlock and keep posting "Where is the 2nd old man" now you know why. You need 6 full branches

This is so funny. If you want to waste your time and wait to unlock every branch go right ahead. It has since day one of publish 10 you need 6 branches to unlock. Where do these people get their ideas from lol. It is asked almost every day on these boards if you can only do 24 box's and they are always told NO it's 6 complete branches. Read the info provided on the FS stickies and don'tF*ck yourselves over.

I know its 6 branches
Thunderheart caused some confusion when he posted "24 fs boxes to become jedi" deal, but it was taken out of context. What he meant was that there was 6 trees with 4 boxes each (6x4=24) and so peeps got all pissed off. He later posted the real thing when pub 9 went live.
Trust me on this, i belive a month or so ago this guy flamed for like 8 billion pages long that hes pissed cuz he did the 24 random box way and didnt unlock. Dont waste ur time, grind 6 trees.

It's because people see the high xp and think there is an easier way around it.It is and only was 6 full branches period.If you check the jedi archives,I believe it will tell you there,otherwise a search may help.But take it from the other people here ,doing 24 random fs boxes , will get you nowhere.LIke someone else said a dev will not post if you are asking them too.
