Should I keep 4333 Creature Handler with the little bit of TKA I have left for defense or should I respec Creature Handler to something totally defensive?

BTW, I'm only 0-2-0-0 Sabers and a Novice Skill or two. Unlocked in July of '04, then got lazy So I guess keep that in mind.

Decided that I was gonna drop CH and go back to TKM, in addition to getting 4-0-0-0 Fencer.

Is anybody else using this as their backup template? I think I made the right decision. Got some nice extra defense.

do whatever you think is fun, don't force yourself into a profession that isn't fun for you

P.S. if you want to get survival xp then get ranger its the fastest way due to skinning in groups

I'm talking about survival fs quest. But thanks for the input. I'm not exactly sure which one is better and I like both of them. hmmmm

I might just go with the mcarb, mbh, pistols 0,2,0,4

I want to grind survival, vehic, ranged def, melee def.

Which prof should be chosen:

TKM, MBH, Commando 1,0,0,0

MBH, Mdoc, medic 4,4,4,0

All of which have good defenses and seem to be good in theory.... Any thoughts?

Thankyou, your help is much appreciated.

I used my final respec to go from TKM/MDoc/Medic 4440 to TKM/MBH ( + some scouting ).

I've come to the conclusion that -- for the grind -- you're going to be grouping in all likelyhood ( that's the only place I get rapid experience , usually grouping on Dant ).

MBH is very effective for the grind because you can cap three weapons ( rifile, pistol, carb ) at 900K and combat EXP at some high number before having to travel back to the village. I highly recommend it.

However, in a group, I've learned that a MBH can't outdamage a Master Rifleman, for example ( or several other classes ) because MBH really doesn't require any real proficiency in any of the weapons. As a result, I rarely draw aggro in group hunting unless I'm hunting with people much lower in level than myself.

So, I've come to the ultimate conclusion that it really didn't matter what other class I took with MBH ( for grinding only ). I'm happy to plink away as best I can, not draw aggro, help the group, and watch the EXP come in quickly.

If I had my last respec to do again, I'd probably choose MBH/MDoc just because I really enjoyed the doctor profession and miss it. It would be worth having to (sigh) go buy armor for my character. But, I'll admit a TKM/MBH isn't really powerful, but a lot of fun to play with a wide variety of attacks.

Hey I've been a melee fighter all my life currently m brawler/m swords/tkm/pike def tree. I was thinking about a change of pace to make the fs grind a little better. Whats a good ranged template my alt is MRM BH 4xxx and CM 44x4 so I don't really need MRM I've heard alot about 4000 doc/MC/4040 pistols. What are your thoughts

I doubt you will need the medic or doctor skills seeing as you will be in a group while grinding, and most likely won't want to be the healer in the group. Out of those, I would say Carbine is the best, because it gives you extra carbine xp cap. I'm MBH, MRM and Pistol 0/4/0/4 (will drop a little pistol when needed).

Thx for your help but I've decided just to put some doc in my template instead. I'm sure pistols are great but don't want to get stuck with something I don't like.
