Go out and buy KOTOR.I am getting tired of the posts bitching about how "hard" it is to get Jedi now. Give it up. It is completely unreasonable to expect a jedi in a few months. People joining in the last few months complaining cracks me up. Too much exp is needed, phases should be shorter, easier.. wwwwaaaaahhhhhh
Buy KOTOR 2, you get a Jedi right out of the box without the effort. Which is what you want isn't it?Message Edited by krigo on 08-10-2005 08:07 AM
Jedi Academy is easier to get a Jedi in. KOTOR you run around forever shooting people with guns before they give you your force powers

Thats actually the slowest way to get jedi, that doesn't grant you jedi in SWG.
And people don't mind having to work for jedi, some people just don't agree with the concept of killing a trillion trillionbols the path to becoming jedi.
I've already got a Jedi, so not fussed, although am working on getting 2 more chars to Jedi, one to be a Jedi Knight, the other to be a Dark Jedi Knight, but have decided to not worry myself over it, as at the end of day, SOE keeps changing the game so much, that it may not be worth it, and also dont want tocripple the chars with 24 SP in the way, if Jedi is actually crap (by the time I've finished my current Jedi char).
Got to still do missions for credits anyway, so will still continue grinding even after got enough FS XP, but won't have anywhere for my current XP to go.
I still think it sucks that players who cant dedicate enough time for it under these new XP rates, but were able to do it before, so may have to give up doing Jedi all together.
Its like if you were travelling from the UK to the US, you make sure theres plenty of fuel in the plane, but then God decides to make the earth bigger, and the distance to the US is now a lot further, then your plane is going to end up crashing before you get to the US. It just sucks!

LMAO Well I can at least thank God that i wasn't drinking my coffee when I read that...I think I would have burned the inside of my nose.
That has to be THE funniest analogy I've ever seen on this forum. Ever.

If I had to do the FS grind again I think I would choke myself with my ethernet cable to get out of it.

Its not the actual FS grind that the problem, its the forever changing gameplay provided by the devs, and the nerfs.
