That's... kind of the point, here? Seems that a lot of people want their Jedi handed to them, when it should be something that is so rare as to be special. There's no mystery involved, no true tests of whether the player can responsibly handle the role, so what's left but to grind? At the very least, it weeds out those who lack the dedication - they'd make poor Jedi because an "I want it now" mindset isn't conducive to such a role.

I think it could be done differently, to be sure - but let's not make it easier. It's bad enough as it is.
