I just got to the village and wanted to train the reflex skill boxes. So I got up to paemos and trade in XP for reflexes. Ohh hey it uses combat type XP. Hmmm I caint train it.............maybe I need to do a quest. I goto the old guy whos name starts with an RI thinkand he gives me the starting quests. Hmm reflexes took combat XP so the combat orientated quest mustovbiously unlock it. Ohh boy was I wrong. I do the quest and only unlock ranged accuracy and thenI find that since I already unlocked abranchI caint unlock the branch I wanted in the first place . So can someone please explain to me why the reflex skills take combat XP but are unlocked with the scout quest? And if they are unlocked with the scout quest WHY DONT THEY TAKE SCOUT XP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Is there any chance that I can get the branch I wanted unlocked?

I can only explain 2 things. Whip was giving the refelexes quest. You can only do one quest per phase. Sounds like you did Sarguillio's quest.

Yes thats exactly what happened. I was under the impression that since reflexed took expirence gained in combat that it would be unlocked by doing the combat orientated quest.

I guess I should have read the stickies before assuming logic was going to have anything to do with the FS skills.

Yeah well the issue is that their are usually 2 combat types at once since 2 of the 4 trees are that way. Be really careful in phase 3 I think (if not phase 4) where one NPC gives 2 different quests. Think it is Sarguillo giving reflex and combat but that was before my 4 month vacation from SWG.

Is there any chance on me getting a CSR to unlock the branch I want?

I can understand why your so upset about it, but since you just started in the village, you will have another chance to get it when it goes back to phase 1 again. Just bank all the Force XP you can get for now and save it all up for later. The only reason I can think of that Enhanced Reflexes takes combat type XP would be that it has the defense branches too which is related to combat.

I espically want that particular tree. I am a CH and the creature knowledge bonus it give is just enough to allow me to see the CL of wild creatures.

Its times like this that make me very glad that the devs live so far away from me because if I wereto find out where they get the stuff they smoke I'd be very tempted to get some myself.

I was on the floor when you asked if a CSR could help you with this.

This one almost sent me to the hospital with laughter. Bless your heart my friend. Have patience and you'll get it all straightened out.
