/tell targetname mind if i take this base, or do you guys want it? because, obviously, being the mature and politically correct person i am, i wouldnt want to push in line or anything. after all, you guys were here first
You guys are all too polite...I have already had the phase 3 mission taken away from my group 4 times...I want a payback...

Can I assume you'll be going Dark Jedi?
You're trying to be part of the problem. Try organizing the groups that are camping it and get everyone through it instead.

Is there no end people will not go to in order to screw over their fellow players?

Let me put it this way: If the Commander wasn't so screwed up (no running, terrain challenged etc.) then 20 bases would work and not just the 3 closest. Now there are a minimum of 2 groups camping each fort and I have seen as many as 8 groups. Why don't they group together? Because only 2 people get credit for the mission. So with only a few days left, yeah screw my fellow players, I will get this quest done no matter what....

No there is no end in fact, and this only goes to show that if there were any justice - and the game was designed properly - the OP would never get Jedi because their morals are too weak.
Please, no one tell someone else how to f*** over another player here, the game already has enough spite, epeen waving and general BS in it.
As to the OP, be better than them, organize the thing as someone suggested and try to ensure everyone gets their shot - and scream at the devs for putting in a quest that is limited in this manner. They probably never thought it would be a problem because so few people do Jedi that a backlog would never occur right?
This quest is already way too cruel for this kind of behavior not to take place. With all the bugs, some groups are having to try this quest 15 times in order to get a success on it - and if a base can only be played a total of 12 times per day and only about 3 of the 15 are close enough to the village in order to have a chance at completing... well you see the problem.
Imagine being a member of a starving community standing in line waiting for food. After standing around for God knows how long, word gets out that there might not be enough food for everyone. It gets better. More than half the food is spoiled and unedible. If you recieve the rotten food and aren't happy with it, guess what, you have to go to the start of the line and wait again. Now how long do you think it would take before this orderly line full of nice people turned into a riot? /sigh
