On average, about how long does it take to complete this quest? I just got my datapad with the village waypoint and am ready to start the FS quests, but I hear phase 4 could end tomorrow. I don't want to start this quest if I can't complete it in time.

Depends on what server you're on when the Village shifts. Took me 4 sith attacks to get all the pirates I needed. I find camping outside the Village gates with a Laser Rifle is a good way to find pirates.

just get in one of the groups that are grinding there. Make sure you at least get one shot in on every sith, and when someone from your group kills it you get credit for it.

I don't believe getting credit for group kills is true, if it were I'd be done by now

It is true, I finished this yesterday. As long as you get a hit and your group has done the most dmg then you will get credit. Took me 3 waves I believe, and I almost maxed 2H xp each time. Good grind when they are attacking.

yup, true. It's the same way with everything you kill. As long as you get one shot on it, no matter what it is, and your group kills it, you'll get xp and the credit for it.

Now note when you have several groups in the village it can get hairy, if another group kills it you won't get any credit or xp at all.

I got it all in the first spawn, just ran around and shot every single sith once, ran inside the hut, ran out to make sure I shot 'em all, then went afk in the hut.. When I came back I had completed the quest.

*edit

Replace "kills" with "most damage"

The quest is not bugged as so many keep saying. The captain says that your plate is too full after you unlock because he's done with you. Talk with the other quest NPCs and they will have a similar brush off because you have done all you can that phase. I messed up because I have combat fs and I need reflex fs to train combat reflexes. If you cant train, this is probably the reason why.

I got the message that I unlocked combat reflexes after killing the last pirate.

now I have to grind reflex fs points to get novice in combat reflexes, but its unlocked so I dont have to sweat it.

Join a group who has one or two people at each f the main spawn points. When one notices a good pirate spawn, spread the word.

This goes very fast.

Make sure you're in a group of 8, have at least 1 Doctor or Combat Medic with you. We did the quest in 1 wave, yes only 1 and all 8 got the quest We were at the north gate ans another group went the same way at the sud gate so 16 ppl in 1 wave to unlock.

Only make sure to get 1 shot at all the enemies your group kills, then your journal is upgraded (nice looting too ) Pirates spawn less ofthen then the Outlaws but more then enough to finish the unlock.

At the end of the quest only get the message in System and Combat chat that you completed after wave is over go to convert xp and get trained. Many ppl "camp" the village to get xp and to help other players out, you surely can find a group even on very strange hours
