OK, I wasn't talking about you. What I said was notice how many ARE MBH.

Well I am not a jedi and still have alot of dewbacks to kill but the new nerf from how I look at it is how the conversion should have been since the village came out. As a MBH/Master Rifleman I could get 300k FS xp in about 3 hrs. Since the new nerf I can get 110k FS xp in about 5 hrs. While this takes alot longer and makes it about 20 days to get each full branch this type of grind seperates the real jedi grinders from the " i want jedi now " grinders.
Alot of people have been upset about the nade grinders and such but that is all in the past now so get over it please. When the nerf first came out I was really upset and thought my dreams of jedi were broken, but then I found it was not as messed up as I first thought. If you dont like the change either keep up the grind for jedi or stop. Yes the grind takes longer but who cares. I have time to grind and enjoy the game and hang out with friends and get smoochies from the ladies and go to work and college all at the same time so you can too becuase I suck at this game lol.
Just look at the change in a positive way and try to enjoy the game. Good Luck to everyone still in the FS grind and god speed=)

well i'm glad they did somethng about the combat xp thing, but they should have just changed it so nades give heavy weapon xp and not combat

I completely agree. I just wish they could have showed us a little respect and TOLD us they were introducing it, instead of just adding it on the sly. They were obviously trying to avoid another CU-type debacle, with lots of people leaving the game.At the moment, I think the devs need to be doing some serious customer relations as there are a lot of people out there questioning exactly where our $15 a month is going.

Totally agree with the should have been told. I only noticed today. But I was smart and banked my FS XP. I am all ready for Jedi. But MASSIVE agreement with the comments here. The Devs have done a good job at slowing down the Jedi population.
This will sort them wanabe Glowstick wielders from the true Jedi Knights of the Galaxy.

Yeah hehe. Well my path is almost complete. Chimaera is going down for reset in about 10mins and poor old me am going out for the day but tonight TONIGHT i will be kicking some serious Sith ass.

I agree with the reduction of "n00b i want jedi for nothing" jedi, however your missing a rather big point.
I work full-time, have been playing SWG for a year as often as I can with my real-life commitments. When phase 4 eventually
arrives on Chimaera I will get my 6th unlock.
Due to RL constraints on the amount of time I can play however I stil require several million fs xp, and with the current conversion rates it will take me the best part of 2 more years to make initiate.
That is why the current system is BS, not because it stops the n00bs, but because it stops the genuine fans who actually have RL commitments.
If they made it a lot harder, and not so long they could address both issues, but I'm not kidding myself into thinking they will ever change away from the grind system....

The change in combat XP conversion doesn't make it any HARDER to get Jedi!
The verb i would use would be "BORING".
How hard is it to go to MO group and kill bols for 6000-7000 xp.
