Thread: Why Didn't They Just.....???

This whole new combat xp conversion at the village makes no sense, combat xp is 10% of weapon xp and there is a 300k or 350k cap on combat xp, and you need 3 mill weapon xp to cap that, but you only get the same conversion as 300k weapon xp????
When I first heard of this, and I was aware of the grenade grinding problem, but it seemed perfectly simple and logical to simply CHANGE GRENADE XP TO HEAVY WEAPON XP.....
.... is that so difficult????

/Agree, oh but then the Devs might actually have to do something.
They are too busy nerfing everything! I have to think the CH publish was a mistake!!
.....to stop complaining? hm?

Actually if everyone thinks about it, this is the very first smart thing the devs have done. By smart, I don't mean the good kind like... "keeping the players happy so they play longer so we get more money", but the kind of smart that is the "most efficient". They are smart in the fact they were able to complete 2 key things, while ONLY pressing 1 key.
By looking at the conversion rates, and pressing the key " 0 ", they adjusted:
-Incomming Jedi Population (making them slow down)
-Fixed the problem with grenades giving so much FS exp
Thats the first "smart" thing (and my "smart" I mean thinking of the most efficient) they have really done. So gotta give them credit for that. Luckily I finished my grind, because I heard the nerf was comming, but I still feel sorry for all the new guys and the casual gamers. I'm more or less what you would call a "power gamer", but honestly I think its the casual ones that deserve Jedi the most. Yes, you heard me, a power gamer standing up for the casual gamers. They are the ones LEAST LIKELY to run around with their sabers ignited in starports, they are the ones that wouldnt duel to be a spectacle in crowded towns, and also as for the casual RP jedi....they give THEMSELVES content. I've recently fallen into the RP swing of things, and I can tell you right now that it adds a lot of fun and enjoyment to the game. You have a character, not a set of pixles in a certain arrangement.
OK! so i'm going way off subject....sowwie T_T

i agree too....you look around theres just too many jedi not because this game is in ts 2nd year but that you can blow thru the village in a little more than over 4 months if u continuelly grinded....this is all toard the trying to make jedi harder to get......ppl shouldnt be able to half as$ their way to jedi.

So you are saying that the people like me, who are going out there and killing things the legit way,EARNING our combat xp our half-assing our way to Jedi? Please. I agree that they should have done something about the grenade grinders, but to cripple those who are out there doing the right thing. That is absurd.

/agree, I have been saying this for days now. I think that they also wanted to slow down even the legit grinders. If this was the case, why don't they change combat XP to a 10:1 ratio, if it is 10% of weapon XP.
As we all know swg is written in BASIC so if u add a line of code all the GOTO lines will be messed up. it will change the numberings on the lines. All the infinite loops would be bugged
