Oh yeah, don't say you will quit either. They heard this Pre CURB, Pre pub 20, Pre Jedi mind healing cost. No one quit, no one cares.
So you migh as well prepay for the 12 months and give SOE your money now!

When I first heard of this, and I was aware of the grenade grinding problem, but it seemed perfectly simple and logical to simply CHANGE GRENADE XP TO HEAVY WEAPON XP.....

/agree, I have been saying this for days now. I think that they also wanted to slow down even the legit grinders. If this was the case, why don't they change combat XP to a 10:1 ratio, if it is 10% of weapon XP.
At 3:1, combat xp conversion rate was already 10% of weapon conversion rate at 30:1.

no i mean half as$ing like thru nades.......but i just dont like how all these ppl can finish jedi so fast and then there be plagues of jedis.

For anyone wondering, I didn't submit this post simply to complain that the FS grind is hard, it should take long, it took me 6 months, and yes, I am well done it, I simply think that players are no longer being credited for work being done, and converting grenades to HW xp could have solved the grenade grinding and kept things reasonable.
I feel for all roleplayers working through the game at their pace, there is no sense penalizing that. *mind my spelling...

well i just get pis$ed off when people brag about completing the village and all they did was nade. Its pathetic.....to me, nading though a exploit....is a cheap way to earn fs exp. I am glad they nerfed the grenade/combat exp.

Well, technically they didn't *fix* grenade/combat experience. They nerfed the conversion of Combat:Force Sensitive. You still get full Combat XP for using grenades, it just makes Grenade grinding ESSENTIAL now, since you need MORE combat XP.
Especially since 75% of the non-crafting, non-jedi population are BHs... 900k Combat XP cap = Nades.
For the first time, I'm actually considering Nade Grinding; since it's the only way that I'm going to get the Force Sensitive XP I need, on top of the Weapons XP I already grind.

This whole new combat xp conversion at the village makes no sense, combat xp is 10% of weapon xp and there is a 300k or 350k cap on combat xp, and you need 3 mill weapon xp to cap that, but you only get the same conversion as 300k weapon xp????

not even that just make nades 1/10th the combat xp they give now, and put the combat back to 3:1 !! look im alredy almost a jedi, but to get my leas fs stuff, I NEED TO KILL GUTK FOR 3 HOUES A DAY FOR 63 DAYS, omfg, k i get board of hunting after 4 days in a row!

I dont buy into the money argument. That means that people get Jedi and then quit the game so SOE lengthens the grind to keep them longer. I have yet to see anyone who is Jedi quit the game.

I agree, They should have make grenades yield Heavy Weapons XP.
For us that doesn't used nades to grind with this is a huge slap in the face.
I mean when using my Carbines & Pistols I get 10% combat XP.. not 100% Combat Xp... Huge diffrence Devs.
