so instead of just nerfing grenades, they jump the gun and nerf combat xp, screwing the **** out of people who dont use nades. LOL. They even made the feral wookiees on the ryatt trail ELITE mobs because they couldnt think of anything better...
I have no problem with either of these situations but i am continually amused at the level of ignorance shown by the Devs. Owned

good, one way to keep down the population even tho its alredy high. it was way to easy with the nade grindgood thing they nerfed it and combat xp

To the people who don't have a problem with this because they have banked all the XP they need, I wouldn't be surprised if the Devs made another change to becoming jedi that eliminates all that banked XP. Let's say, for example, the requirements to become jedi were to master 30+ professions then that changes while you're on profession 25. Too many people are getting jedi's under that system, too easy, so it's time for a change. OK, so I have to give up my dancing tailor template. So they implement the village and the FS conversion stuff. Too many people are getting Jedi under THAT system, so time for another change...everyone is crying for a true quest based system. They would give you something for the millions of banked XP that are useless in the "new" system, right? Maybe you could have your first quest given to you for free and you get to start at quest #2. Maybe a hologram of a jedi for your house. Features yet to be discovered. 
And is it just me, or does it seem like most of the people who are saying "it's about time" already have a jedi?

*sigh* It's sad to see this happening, I've unlocked 2 trees and have finsihed 1 and have to work on another now. I acutally like to experience all I paid for in this game and this will just be one of those things. I am ready for Jedi but they are now making it a lot harder. Thanks SOE, and have a nice day.

This was the only right way to do somthing and you know it. I mean really...

true.. but from a develpment standpoint.. you want to keep as many people in the game as possible... most people play to become jedi....its just a fact...i just think the system is too easy now...

fix grenades? grenades arnt broken... you 'sploiters are. Commandos need grenades to work just the way they do. I vote for perma-death for jedi.

The nade thing wasn't an exploit, no rules were broken in the process. It was a perfectly legal action to take in the game, but now nades are 100% useless lol. Yeah I used nades, yeah I'm gonna have to grind my last 2 trees the "hard way." I'd be perfectly fine with it IF the Devs put the nerf in the patch notes from day 1 that they were up, if you notice the notes on the launchpad now say there is a nerf, when as of 2 hours before server downtime there was no mention of it at all. Thanks SOE for being a sneaky little A**hat, glad to know what kind of hands this game is in.

Yeah, I'm a little confused by this as well. Why they didn't just create Grenade or Commando XP and have it at a 20 to 1 FS XP trade with no combat xp awarded for the nades is beyond me?

Excuse me, but when my TK does 800+ damage bare-handed ona CL 80 mob and my 'ex'-commando only did 200 on the very same mob with a proton grenade (best commando grenade requiring mastery level) you can't say grenades aren't broken.
This is just laughable )
