Well if you dont' have the time to do what it takes to make jedi, like I said, go play KOTR 1 or 2. In 1 you become a jedi really quick and in 2, you're already a bad ass jedi. If you can't handle earning something, then this game, as well as many things in life are just not for you. Since CU, it's not as much of a grind to get all the exp you need. Just landing 1 hit on a mob while you're group hunting nets you maximum exp for the mob. Back pre-CU you got exp based on how much damage you inflicted on the mob. It's easier that it was and you still complain. Maybe games like finding nemo, and the incredibles are more your style since you want to get to the "end game" in 5 minutes.
To the original poster....
If you came to play this game for the sole reason of being a jedi...you were misled and should take it back. Jedi is earned not a handout...although they make it so easy anymore it almost it. If you were actually here from the start you would have known that jedi were initially a 1% lottery style population with a semi-set way to unlock but not a sure way with unknown factors hidden within the system. Jedi had a little thing known as perma-death. 3 deaths to them meant no more jedi. Now you can die all you want and just lose xp. I have been playing for almost 2 years now and have just started my initiate quests, so until you have put in the time you really need to earn your place. Stop looking for handouts and play the game as it was meant. You don't like it? Go somewhere else, and especially don't whine when people point out how foolish you are being.

shutit,im not palying kotor and, i pay 15 bucks a month for a boring worthless grind i tinkit need sto be quest based wereu do 1 theme park a week for 20 weks to get jedi.
If you are really in a hurry you could buy one off of E-Bay.
I hate grinding also, and according to Garva, SWG is one of the lowest grind oriented games on the market. Personally I think someone has lied to him, but hey, that's my opinion.
I've played swg, EQ, EQ2, WoW, and UO, and of those, the 3 SOE games are nothing but grinding, although I do have to say that with the recent expansion, SWG has started giving out decent item rewards for quests done. It'd be nice if they'd give out XP rewards for them as well.

If you can't handle the FS grind, don't even bother going for Jedi. That is when the actual grind starts. When you get beaten into the ground by a bounty hunter because you waved your saber around in public like I'm pretty sure you will, you will lose XP. And when you are 5 mill in the hole, will you complain here (rather, in the jedi forums) that they should make Jedi easier because the grind is long and boring? Heh.
