its called rifleman/CM/BH or carbineer/CM/BH or pistoleer/CM/BH ,etc. are able to kill jedi meaning there ARE better combat proffesions than jedi
a swordsman/4-0-0-0 CM/TKM is a good profession
a pikeman/4-0-0-0 CM/ TKM is a good proffesion
you're problem is that you haven't give any mix of professions a chance, there's 30+ professions other than jedi

I dunno. FS grind works for me. CU + respec to MBH + grenades + double XP + Rryatt Trail = 4mil FSXP in 3 days. Luckilu, I've been visiting the village semi-regularly. Even with 2 months spent playing JtL exclusively and a 2 month hiatus, I'm now a week away from paddy. You may not like it, but I do. Better than the hologrind (ug) since I've been able to stretch it out, knowing I'd get there eventually. So, FWIW, some of us kind of like the FS grind. Of course, if I'd screwed up my chance with the respec and double XP, I guess I'd be mad too...

Nothing wrong with the system. It puts the casual gamer on the same level as the power grinder ( as someone already said).

I'm going to agree with the "Keep it as is" crowd. I have one phase to go and hated it the whole time.
Jedi needs to be that way orelse thealready over poplulated class would be too much...
Who wouldnt want to have a fun filledadventure with the prize of Jedi at the end?
The path has to be one that people will not like orwill not do...unless they really,really want it.
