I like having all the jedi in the game its cool to see them around. I know the time period is wrong but then all the player cities are not in any of the books i read. Maybe a time shift to the future is needed. But if you take away jedi you give people no goal to win and this means less people playing. Soon it would be like 100 jedi alone in cyber space.

First, to the OP, I highly doubt it that you wouldn't care if they locked out any future Jedi today. After all that grinding and so on, to be denied Jedi? I don't think you'd be so 'cool' about things. I, for one, am only 4 quests away from being a full on Jedi, with a free respec in the 'bank' to instantly buy myself some Jedi skills - but I would be more than happy to give that all up if it meant that not only there wouldn't be anymore Jedi, but that there would be a slow decrease in their population.
The game has changed too much to go back to the original vision of having only a few Jedi.
If they wanted to do it, it would require a MAJOR overhaul that 95% of all existing Jedi would despise:
1) Remove the village
2) Make "glowy" random - Every month, each server chooses 2 characters that have been active for more than 90 days to become 'glowy'. Alternative is to let the Dev's decide based upon the player's playstyle in the game. Are they working to enhance the game or are they just 1337 dood whiners?
3) Have existing Jedi able to lose their force powers! If said player is killed 5 times in a one week period, they lose all of their force powers. Yes, it means that after they get ganked 4 times, they simply log for a week - but it will keep the 'visible population' down since they won't be able to play them for 4-5 days.
Doubt anyone would agree to this though.

everyone talking about not enough endgame content... what do you do when you jedi?... grind out your template and then what... you PVP... how about trying to PVP as a non-jedi, if people actually participate in the GCW then alot of people would never need to go jedi, they would have plenty of fun as a regular profession, duking it out with the glowsticks up in their face and every victory is that much more enjoyable because you know you didnt have to become a jedi to do it.

It's a game. Jedi is a profession in the game. Jedi is the only star wars element of this ever increasing pathetic excuse for an MMO. Just face that.

Opening this thread, I expected a message aimed at many Jedi...
Instead, I realized it was just a poorly spelled troll.
