you have to master 5 specific professions to unlock. you can get 4 holocrons to tell you 4 of the professions but you have to guess what the last one is..this method will change with pub 10 though.once its out there will be quests that you must complete.

awww i found a holocron splinters but not noingly sold it on the baazar terminal
can someone tell me what the 5 professions are or can someone gimme a hint profession

yeah i know sry bout that well i wanted to know like what professions they were so i could start on em so when 10 comes i could have a minnimum req or a easier time on the quests ya know?????

In short, it took me 7 months of the old system to finally open my Jedi slot. Publish 10, the new method, starts in about 6 weeks. The holocrons are probably not going to be the issue, you can probably find some pretty cheap if you look around. It is trying to find that 1 profession out of the other 28 Masters before the 6 weeks are up.
It is best now you just pick a good set of professions, and wait until the new quest system starts. BTW, no one knows how that will work, except maybe the developers, but they will never tell us how to do it, and more than likely the quests will not be the same for everyone.

I dont think I would be going out on a limb to say that over 50% of the jedi's unlocked over 20 prof, and 25% of those prob. unlocked over 25 prof. It took myself 27 prof. my buddy 30 prof.
As for getting prepared for the trails, there are pleanty of profs. that would be extremly usefully
Doc and anyone of the melee prof.(fencer and TKA being high on the list).
Its totaly up to you on what prof. to become each has there ups and downs.

Holocrons are now useless anyway so youd need to randomly complete professions and hope.

right now u can't become Force sensetive until Pub 10 and the enclaves r on yavin 4.
