ok, well, im on quest 2/16. The rori painter wont spawn for me. Ive reset the quest, ive traveled to numerous planets, I cant get the wp to respawn. Help?

Once it fails to spawn, you have to reset the mission. When you approach your waypoint, do so slowly. Also be sure nothing agros you as you approach.

when you get training lightsaber trial it means you are doing 9th one

How long do the padawan trials take?? Can it be done in a day?

how long would you play in that day? i would have to say no, unless you get lucky. some of the trials are spent finding creatures to kill and some can be kinda annoying to find sometimes. also lets assume you don't get any bugged missions although they might happen. 2-3 days of more casual play is about right, 1 day if you spend alot of time i guess.

If a force shrine did not show up then you need to do a search for shrine locations, the thread started is arjuan thakur or something. It has all the waypoints to all the shrines. I reccommend you check out the guide on the sticky and read up on the padawan trials so you can complete it first time, beware it is very buggy.

the old man hasnt shown up yet tho.... i've just done all 6 fs branches, how long does it take?

took 2 days for a friend of mine. I've heard that you should give it 3 or 4 before you start to worry though.
I haven't heard of anyone waiting longer yet. I could be wrong

12 hours ......but that was b4 the servers stopped going down for daily reset

I would wait three days, then if he hasn't shown up, delete your character, because obviously your bugged. Just kidding. Seriously it takes anyone from as soon as you train the 6th branch to somewhere around 72 hours. Same as when you got glowy.
