I WILL NOT SIGN. This post is completegarbage. Especially all of the people who say, since I am almost done or am done I will sign it. That is just ridiculous. Grenadeugrinding is great, and is one of the only reasons I can comfortably grind out jedi. I wish I could be a power gamer and play 24/7. If that were the case I probably would grind xp in other ways, but since I do not have the time i can still make good progress with nades. I mean you can cap in a good 1-2 hours, if you include preparing grenades and going to the force village. I can do that maybe 2-3 times a week. That is perfect and not too ridiculous. Taking grenades combat xp conversion out would probably be the straw that broke the camel's back with me, as I would raise the white flag. Just my two cents.

Yes anyone can buy credits from ebay i do not, i have better things to do

If someone wants jedi hard enough they will work for it. You are probably one of these people who want jedi in 3 months.

Holo grinders had to work for it. Normal grinders have to work for it. Nade grinders, in comparison, get it easy.

Yes I am a jedi, before someone asks, but I rarely play him because of the burn out from grinding, but I did it the hard way.

I started the village when it first hit the live servers and i now have 3 boxes out of the 24 required whats that tell you .

This is my point, you said in your last post why should someone be comfortable while trying to get jedi, well becauseeveryone pays to play. So you are telling me you would pay for something that you didnt like or were not comfortable with ? If you mean the hard way grinding out all 32 professions i would have to say it must have sucked but also nobody made you do it, you did it because you wanted jedi. So you did what was necessary to achieve that. I dont see how that is much different than it is now, people are doing what it takes to achieve jedi, maybe you think its easier, personally i think its long and boring and tedious. If this was game breaking or exploiting i would agree nerf it but its not.

1./ you may be satisfied now, but wait until PvP/endgame is destroyed with the ridiculous amount of jedi out there. You think it's bad now? wait 6 months....

2./ I would have to be brutal and say that you dont want jedi that bad (?) I am a casual gamer - I get to play 2 hours a day if I am lucky and I grinded all 6 FS branches from scratch.

It probably looks like I am being selfish and I can understand that - there are a lot of people yet to attain jedi and seeing someone who IS a jedi moaning about this is frustrating, but to be honest I am trying to look from a broader perspective.

Giving noobs the ability to attain jedi in 18 weeks from scratch is just plain dumb. What will this do for the thousands of players that do not want to play jedi? It will destroy the game for them and they will most likely leave.

Just because we are paying $15 a month does not give us the divine right for an easy life, things have to be worked at. We pay taxes - it does not mean we get everything served up on a plate for us.

There are lots of people (non-jedi) that disagree with the nerf and I can understand that but everyone is entitled to their opinion - I am airing mine.

Sure I'll sign but thats because i'm a pre-patch 9 Jedi. There are too many of you newb Jedi anyway /sarcasm off.


Notice a pattern here? Honestly if grenades whether they are thermals or C-12s help everyone finish their grinding to becoming a Jedi then I say more power to them.


So what if its easier now? Maybe with more Jedi then eventually knights this FRS could finally get off the ground.

I switched my template around so i could use grenades. Frankly, it's not the grind that made me want to switch, it was the boring trips to the village that wore me out and made me change. If they increased normal weapon experience cap to 3,000,0000 and left combat xp at its current cap of 300k, I would have never switched. I just hated the fact that i'd max out two handed xp and then grind out more than double what i just "ground" only to try and max out combat xp. That trip, back and forth is so lame. Another thing, at least take the friggin trees out of the way to the village from science outpost. I'd like to be able to go take a P I S S during the trip.

Im not going to use them but who cares if other people do. Once the Devs get on board with a Combat and Jedi revamp it wont matter how many Jedi are on the sever. Enough people hate Jedis, the regular proffessions are goingno where.If you can get it in 3 months from starting who cares. I know you guys from the begining had it hard dont be bitter that it's alot easier now just go with it. One more thing, how do you think the game could have come out without Jedi, this is Starwars? I would have never watch the movies if they didnt have Jedi or played this game that's why it's cool. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good things in the game with out Jedi but they are crucial. I appolgize for my spelling this spell check sucks.

No, I have not finished my grind.


Yes, I do believe using trown weapons to get combat xp is way over powered.


There have been lots of posts lately with pplmaking 400-500k FS XP in one buff session and I believe them. Sorry but this is what 10X quicker then any other method. 2 or 3X quicker would be ok due to the cost of nades and armor, etc but 10X is way too much of a benifit.


With no Commando skills and just using c-12's it seems about fair.However, once you get to 3000 Commando or Master Commando the XP just comes too fast in my oppinion. 500k in a buff session is absolute crazy. Two and a half buffs and you have a branch. Times that by 6 and that is 12-14 buffs to get all the FS XP you need. Even though this is a few hours of game time no other XP converts to FSanywhere near as quick.


Needs to be fixed before the CU in my oppinion!

In this thread Mr. phony is advising someone to set up a grenade template! How does he know about grenade templates? Mostly likely because he used it himself and now he wants to selfishly prevent others from doing the same. Like I said if the devs are going to change how this works then they need to go back and remove all the grenade xp from the phonys!
